Responsibilities:
· Monitor and follow up on the timely submission of employee timesheets for accurate revenue recognition.
· Ensure that the Accounts Payable (AP) month-end closing is completed within the specified timeline.
· Perform vendor verification and creation in SAP.
· Process payables transactions, including supplier invoices and employee reimbursements, in compliance with accounting principles, GST regulations, and the correct General Ledger (GL) account based on the nature of expenses.
· Review invoices for compliance with financial policies, circulate invoices for departmental verification and approval, and ensure proper documentation is in place before processing payments.
· Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet schedules, vendor accounts, and the general ledger.
· Prepare month-end journal entries, including payable accruals and prepayments amortization.
· Assist in the preparation of GST reports for submission.
· Support year-end external and internal audits, including preparing audit schedules.
· Provide business partnership to business divisions and suppliers regarding Accounts Payable queries.
· Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Minimum a Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or Accounting related field.
· A minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an MNC and a high-volume environment.
· Strong working knowledge of GST regulations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with computerized accounting systems. Familiarity with SAP accounting system is an advantage.
· Meticulous, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong communication skills.
· Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
