Responsibilities

• Conducting periodic account closing operations;

About the role

As a Strata Management Accounts Executive at Knight Frank, you’ll take ownership of handling multiple sets of accounts, ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day financial operations. Accounts Executive

• Full spectrum of Accounts Payable functions, ensuring smooth and accurate processing of payments

Job Purpose

The Accounts Executive supports the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. He / She is involved in work that is specific to accounts receivable, payment, data compilation, and other accounting tasks.

In some instances, he / she may work specifically with ensuring the accuracy of Accounts Payable Ageing, assist Auditors in providing necessary documents during audit exercise and be the custodian of Petty Cash and reimbursement of expenses. JOB PURPOSE

The Accounts Executive is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to colleagues, clients and stakeholders of the business. He/she will be exposure to full set of accounts of one or more entities in the group and managing both accounts payable and receivable.

AGI Freight is seeking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to assist Accounts Manager to manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The role also includessupervising and leading a junior staff member, ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Assist accounts manager and manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist to prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist to maintain accurate and timely records for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
• Assist to ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing requirements, and financial reporting standards.
• Assist to handle fixed assets management and depreciation schedules.
• Assist to develop and maintain effective internal financial controls.
• Assist in any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Assist to oversee the accounts receivable process, including reviewing of invoices accuracy, tracking payments, and reconciling AR accounts.
• Assist to follow up with local and oversea clients on overdue payments and manage payment discrepancies.
• Assist to generate AR aging reports and provide insights to management.
• Able to liaise and work with local and oversea client as well as internal teams to resolve invoicing or payment-related issues promptly.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Receive freight, handling charges and expenses from airline, coloaders and vendors.
• Check and tally monthly export/Import/General Expenses submitted by airlines, coloaders and vendors against tariffs and rates in Company’s system.
• Identify discrepancies or non-conformities and follow up with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Input and process all verified billings, expenses and claims to facilitate payment.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of payments and expenses within agreed credit period.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Generate accounts payable aging reports and other ad-hoc financial reports as needed
• Ad hoc tasks as and when required

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing a full set of accounts, with strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, AP and AR processes.
• Knowledge of payroll is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills such as excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory bodie

Job Purpose

The Accounts Executive is responsible in maintaining updated cash book and unpaid Trade Contractor Certificate of Payment Response (TCCP) / invoice log, update invoice receipt into SUN system and all accounts payable functions. The role works closely with other members of the Finance Team, as well as external liaison with Suppliers and Subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

· Check, verify, and record TCCP into unpaid TCCP log and ensuring they are charged correctly into Projects. Subsequently matching TCCP with invoices received from external suppliers/trade contractors

· Maintain and manage all cash and banking records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers

· Ensure the coordination of the statutory audit of cash, year in year out, and resolve all possible queries

· Preparation and issuance of all payments, cheques, bank transfer, etc.

· Check and verify cash transactions, maintain allowable and reasonable cash float within office

· Post purchase and payment transactions into SUN System

· Reconcile accounts payable balances and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

· Monthly bank reconciliation and investigate discrepancies

· Monitor unpaid TCCP log and account payable accounts to ensure payments are up to date

· Maintain subcontractor and vendor files in the SUN system, request bank account information and update bank payee master file

· Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries including payment status

· Update commercial department on TCCP payment status for CVR update

· Prepare trade payable confirmation and reconcile differences for audit

· Assist with month end closing

· Provide supporting documentation for audits
