Accounts & Admin Assistant

Role & Responsibility:

• Perform daily accounting and finance duties, including receivables and payables processing, general ledger maintenance and bank and intercompany transactions reconciliation.
• Manage day-to-day function of accounts activities.
• Support audit and tax filings, handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings (e.g., GST).
• To perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE or Diploma holder in any related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Supervise the Accounts Payable (AP) function.
• Maintain creditor records, including IBG payment details.
• Collect AP data from all centers for processing.
• Input AP details into GP Dynamics Financial Software.
• Batch AP transactions for intercompany billing, fixed assets, and prepayments.
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger balances with the general ledger.
• Prepare and generate monthly AP aging reports.
• Process bi-monthly AP payments and manage ad-hoc payments as required.
• Handle AP payments via automated systems and manual cheques.
• Perform monthly revenue accruals for selected centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full range of Accounts Receivable (AR) duties, including preparing invoices, verifying sales, managing month-end closing, and reconciling accounts.

• Track and monitor collections and payments and update the Aging List for the Sales team to follow up.
