Overall Function

Salary: $ 3200 - $ 3800 (Depends on Work Experiences)
Working Time: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Job Responsibilities

Supervision and Team Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Provide guidance, support, and supervision to accounting staff.
• Leading and motivating the accounting team in order to achieve the set OKR and KPI
• Ensure that team members adhere to accounting principles and company policies.
• Prepare financial forecast for inter-companies billing.
• Work with department heads to align financial goals across the company

Financial Reporting:

• Maintain Full set of accounting records for multiple companies.
• Prepare staff allocation report.
• Work closely with external counterparties for completion of monthly/yearly closing.
• Provide reliable data for cash flow projections.
• Prepare and review quarterly GST reporting.
• Prepare monthly accounting schedule.
• Prepare and review group of month-end closing report to managements.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly accounts of companies directly under your responsibility and other group of companies handled by accounting staff.

General Ledger Management:

• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and make adjustments when needed.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure the company stays compliant..
• Ensure compliance with local government requirements and timely reporting to relevant regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultant on compliance matters.

Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency in accounting processes.
• Implement best practices to streamline accounting procedures.
• Participate in system upgrades or implementations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Accounting qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting job, ability to maintain full set of accounts will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and common accounting software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance. the incumbent will be responsible for managing of overall credit and receivable collection functions of the hotel in the most efficient manner in order to minimize the non-payment of accounts and potential bad debts. • To be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Credit & Account Receivable section.
• To ensure that the hotel credit policy and procedure is adhered to in all departments.

• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Manager specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
• Have good communication skills in written and spoken English
• Result and detail-oriented and be proactive
• Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills

• Collect AP data from all centers.
• Input AP into GP Dynamics Financial Software.
• Batch AP for intercompany billing, fixed assets processing, and prepayments.
• Reconcile the AP sub-ledger with the general ledger.
• Generate the monthly AP aging report.
• Process AP payments twice a month, along with any ad-hoc payments as needed.
• Handle AP payments via computer and manual cheques.
• Perform monthly revenue accrual for selected centers.
