Accounts Officer Job Scope:
1. Handle full sets of Accounts
2. Handle other financial tasks:
· Make payment to suppliers in accordance to their credit terms.
· Deposit cash to banks on a monthly basis
· In charge of Account Receivables and ensure that customer’s payments do not exceed their credit terms
· Financial report submissions
· Quarterly GST submissions
· Employee CPF submissions
· Ensure that documents are in order are filed correctly at month end before closing accounts
3. Supports the Business Manager in HR matters
4. In charge of Payroll
5. In charge of maintaining office equipment, office assets and ERP system by calling for third party vendors for support when there is a breakdown or malfunction
6. In charge of handling yearly audit
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of working experience in handling full sets of accounts, GST submissions, account receivables, account payables and all matters relating to accounts and finance
2. Basic Educational Qualifications: Professional Certificates or at least an accounting Diploma.
3. Basic Skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel)
· Possess a good command of English (Written and spoken)
4. Experience in using ERP system will be an advantage (Training in using Microsoft Dynamics will be provided for the candidate with no working knowledge)
5. Can work independently, pays attention to detail and is accurate and systematic
6. This position requires the incumbent to be organized, pro-active and most of all a good team player who can provide exemplary service from the heart
