Job Description

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts.

AI Singapore (AISG) is sourcing for an individual to join the AI Products team as Senior Executive / Assistant Manager. As Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, you will help develop our strategy to take advantage of AI – in particular Large Language Models (LLMs) through building partnerships and a healthy ecosystem, while pushing for adoption and value creation.

This role reports to the Head of Strategy, Partnerships & Growth in the AI products team.

In this role, you will:

Project Funding and Internship Scheme

● Lead the operationalization of project award and paid internship schemes targeting post-graduate students in the LLM space globally
● Conceptualize and execute outreach and marketing of post-graduate LLM project funding and internship schemes, liaising with touch-points within NUS and other IHLs globally as necessary
● Conduct systematic, accurate and timely tracking and status reporting of funded projects
● Serve as secretariat for committee(s) that provide governance and oversight of funding schemes

Partnerships & Strategy

● Establish and operationalize systems for progress tracking of partnerships and collaboration projects with private sector and public sector entities as well as academic institutions
● Assist in preparations and support regular reporting and stakeholder management interactions
● Track and ensure timely follow-up to inbound partnership and collaboration requests, liaising with appropriate internal and external parties as necessary

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable tertiary institution
● 3-5 years in partnership management, marketing, project management
● Excellent understanding of customer profiling based on behavior, demographics
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage a wide variety of stakeholders effectively
● Up-to-date with AI research areas and current trends, especially their application to problem-solving
● Experience with administration of funding schemes in a large academic or corporate setting will be a plus

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and liaise with Headquarter Sales, System engineer and Customers to perform the full process related to ICT services billing.
• Manage contract renewal for ICT services with legal team and customers.
• Carry out monthly forecast planning and annual business planning together in SAP.
• Interpret usage data from system in Korean language for billing task.
• Follow up on payment with customers according to payment terms. Escalate payment issues to Group leader and Finance timely.
• Facilitate the clarification and resolution of usage issues accurately and promptly with customers, HQ Sales and engineers.
• Support internal and external audit relating to services billing.
• Ensure billing duties are carried out according to governance and compliance set by Internal process control.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Customer or Sales support, Business Operation and Finance role, preferably in IT Infrastructure environment.
• Understand full spectrum of Sales Management (which includes management of contracts, monitor and support projects).
• Preferably knowledge in Salesforce and SAP (SD, PS, MM and CO module etc.)
• Possess intermediate level of technical, financial and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Advance level).
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Strong motivated team-player.
• Able to work under stress and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Ability to extract and translate data into concise and meaningful information for Senior Management.
• Able to work efficiently and multi-task with minimum supervision.
• Strong writing and communication skills in both English and Korean Languages.

1. Responsible for managing assigned Global / Regional Accounts and developing them into high value accounts. Has ownership of the account and oversees account development, as well as problems and incident resolution.

2. Responsible to achieve assigned financial targets.

3. Identifies business opportunities with target and incumbent accounts. Creates account plans and strategy to win/grow the account. Facilitates global / regional business between different countries and executes a go-to-market strategy for international clients.

4. Owns and leads RFI / RFP responses. Understand the customer needs and RFP requirements. Manages the entire bid process; leading and co-ordinating responses to tender, proposal, management of conformance to requirements and work with various Subject Matter Expert

5. Maintain an active global / regional network of customers with partners and distributors.

6. Negotiate profitable contract terms with due consideration for local jurisdiction and application law, working closely with the Contract Manager

7. Provide accurate forecast of opportunities for planning purposes.

8. Works closely with the Project Manager and other Subject Matter Expert to develop rollout implementation plan for product delivery, services maintenance, accounts reporting and problem resolution ensuring they are delivered to the required quality, timescale, and budget. Establish client current state and propose future state in terms of working process and TCO.

9. Leads quarterly business reviews (QBR) with selected customers. Provides consistent and regular service reviews in relation to the SLA, ensuring the client’s contractual targets and measurements are met. Manages the services delivery and provides insights and recommendation that promote continuous improvement and with the goal of client satisfaction, business growth, and retention.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Business Management / Economics / Computer Science / Sales & Marketing / Finance & Accounting
• At least 5 Years of Experience with at least 2 years working at APJ level in areas of Major Account/Large Enterprise servicing / consultancy related / service delivery / sales management
• Good understanding of Global / Regional procurement process and international business
• Understands digital transformation and smart office environment
• Able to independently engage customers at C-level
• Demonstrates professional ethics, which is reliable and dependable with high integrity
• Demonstrates respect for cross-cultural difference with good interpersonal skill.
• Excellent communication skills (presentation, writing)
• Competent in spreadsheet calculation and reporting
• Some knowledge of Business and legal contract negotiation and drafting
• Good business acumen and analytical skills

Responsibility

• Provide financial and administrative services, inluding full accounts payable function, intercompany reconciliation, journal entries to support the Finance & Accounting Team in AP and other reporting
• Provide efficient, timely and accurate payment to suppliers and vendors
• Prepare and perform review on Balance Sheet, P&L schedules and bank reconciliations
• Prepare GST, import duty, withholding tax and corporate income tax return
• Responsible and maintain fixed asset and inventory register
• Liaise with external parties, e.g. auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities when required
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and compliance with local statutory requirements / accounting standards
• Participate in the annual fixed assets verification exercise and year-end stocktake exercise
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirement
