Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, servers, and applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure systems are running efficiently.
• Troubleshoot system issues and outages.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure,including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Manage VPNs and remote access systems.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect systems from threats.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and user accounts.
• Regularly update systems and apply security patches.
• Review the network access log
• Provide technical support to end-users for system and network-related issues.
• Train staff on IT best practices and new software.
• Maintain detailed records of IT infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Navision will be an added advantage
• Scripting and programming for system administration and user requirement.

Competency Requirements

• Min Diploma in IT or equivalent
• Experience in Network, routing protocol
• Experience on Windows Server, Windows OS, Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud
• Experience in VBA scripting
• Knowledge in software development will be an advantage

The successful candidate will be part of procurement team to ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the purchasing process within the organisation. The role shall involve establishing and overseeing effective execution of the company’s overall procurement strategies and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all the purchasing processes involved in directly and indirect procurement such as technical / engineering services, plants and equipment, spares, and materials needed for efficient manufacturing operations and processes.
• Strategizing with various stakeholders to plan and manage current needs as well as future requirements.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, spares, and repair and maintenance services.
• Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Sourcing and evaluating goods and services to determine which best meet the organization’s needs.
• Negotiating and securing supply contracts with best pricing, payment terms and delivery options.
• Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers.
• Liaise with Finance department and vendors to resolve discrepancies such as price, quality, delivery, or payment issues, if any
• Managing good suppliers’ relations which include researching and enhancing supply chain resilience.
• Evaluating supplier performance (sustainability, quality, reliability, delivery lead time, value) developing and managing long term ethical relationships with supply chain.

Requirements:

• At least diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management / engineering and trained and hone with specialized skills in sourcing and negotiation.
• Analytical, financially & numerically astute with strong proven problem identification and solution abilities.
• Good verbal & written communication ability, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Able to work independently, multi-task and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in establishing e-procurement in an organization, preferred.

1. Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors and service providers to ensure the best quality and pricing.

2. Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts and agreements.

3. Conduct market research to identify trends and potential suppliers.

4. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.

6. Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.

7. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely delivery and storage.

8. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

9. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts and supplier performance.

10. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement.

11. Monitor budgets and forecast procurement needs.

12. Conduct performance reviews of suppliers to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.

13. Handle supplier disputes and resolve issues effectively.

14. Prepare regular procurement reports including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.

15. Provide insights and recommendations to improve the procurement process.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related fields.
