Key Responsibilities

• Compute and reconcile customer/ supplier account balances with overall totals.
• Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
• Accurately input timely data into the accounting system.
• Maintain precise financial records and prepare statements.
• Perform month-end closing activities and procedures.
• Handle payroll transactions using the company accounting system.
• Record and manage all business transactions using principles of double-entry accounting.
• Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs.
• Document transactions for sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.
• Generate system reports from the accounting system for management’s usage.
• Utilize IT systems and tools effectively for data analysis.

• Assist in preparation of the full spectrum of corporate accounting and billing function
• Assist in preparation of the full spectrum of vessel accounting function
• Prepare monthly payments to vendors and reimbursement of expense claims
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare all necessary supporting documents for auditing purposes

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years related experience is preferred
• Well versed with MS excel and word
• Detailed oriented and able to work in fast paced environment with deadlines and goals
• Good written and interpersonal communication skills

• The Accounts/Tax Executive shall be responsible for the accounting and tax requirements of the clients which have outsourced their accounting and tax functions to the Company
• Able to complete full set of accounts
• Knowledge of GST
• Knowledge of tax regulations

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experiences
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
