Reservations Executive / Assistant Reservations Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Reservations Executive or Assistant Reservations Manager to join our team. The role encompasses all aspects of reservations for the hotel. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, you will be responsible to maintain an accurate record of all reservations, handling inquiries and bookings in a timing basis, displaying excellent phone and customer service skills, provide training and coaching to the Reservations Agents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the Reservations Department
• Creating and updating room reservations via the PMS
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of reservation data into the system.
• Ensure all Reservations Agents promote upselling to maximise hotel revenues.
• Managing special requests and room allocations.
• Resolve any booking issues or discrepancies in a professional way.

• Manage group bookings from Sales, follow up and follow through with the Sales Manager to ensure for smooth operations

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setup sound, light, and video systems for events (both at Singapore EXPO and external venue), ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
• Conduct thorough pre-checks to ensure sound, light, and video systems and logistical requirements for all events are met.
• Standby and manning of sound, light, and video systems for rehearsals and during event days.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during events.
• Recover and account for all AV equipment after events, ensuring proper storage and handling.
• Perform periodic maintenance on sound, light, and video equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Assist in annual stock-takes of all AV equipment and update inventory records accurately.
• Prepare event directional and digital room signage according to event requirements.
• Prepare car park and cleaning work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure meeting rooms are ready for use.
• Conduct joint inspections with event organizers for handover and takeover of venue spaces.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

• ITE or Diploma in Audio Visual related field.
