Responsibilities:

Accounting, General Admin Functions

Responsible for the full set accounts and day-to-day accounting

Accounts Assistant/Executive

Job Scope:

1) Responsible for credit control and collections duties, including follow-up and responding to client’s enquires;

2) Monitor collection progress and update aging status accordingly including accurate records of all chasing

activity;

3) Performing account reconciliations;

4) Manage delinquent accounts including regular and AR review meetings with internal stakeholders;

5) Pass journals on contra entries or any adjustment on accounts.

6) Prepare outstanding debts reports for management and raise any issued faced

7) Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries

8) Provide ad-hoc reporting as required by Management

9) Other duties that may delegate from time to time by management.

Qualifications:

1) Diploma/degree graduate in Accounting;

2) Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in insurance industry;

3) Good knowledge of computer applications especially, Microsoft Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts

• Provide Accounting Support for Payments to Vendors
• Prepare quarterly GST reports in compliance with regulations
• Co-ordinate Year-end closing of accounts

Procurement / Operations:

• Provide support to Operations Director & render support for new centre set-up e.g. NETS application, Little Lives etc
• Identify and source new suppliers to enhance procurement options with competitive prices
• Maintain and develop an approved suppliers list
• Obtain quotes from various suppliers and follow-up on purchase requisition & receipt of goods
• Coordinate activities between school and vendors e.g. teaching resources etc.
• Orders & Purchases of required items for office/school
• Check delivery orders
• Other Administrative duties such as Insurance Renewal/Claims, Season Parking Renewals

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma level qualification in accounting or related field
• A minimum of two years finance accounting will be an added advantage
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Energetic and works efficiently
• Able to speak in Mandarin to liase with chinese speaking vendors
• Able to work Independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily issuance of sales invoices and update invoice/payment registers.
• Maintain and reconcile daily sales, purchase books, and monthly financial records, including Physical, Paper, and Opex transactions.
• Oversee monthly inventory maintenance and valuation to ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform physical fair value assessments and reconcile suspense accounts, ensuring freight costs are properly captured.
• Monitor and track the due dates of invoices to maintain efficient cash flow.
• Undertake ad-hoc accounting duties as required to support the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Holds a Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid technical knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP is preferred.
• Exceptional numeracy skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates initiative in problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and thrives as a team player.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounts Payables and Receivables Management:

Oversee the maintenance of accounts payables and receivables.

Expense Allocation:

Assign expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices, expense reports, and verifying posting entries.

Commercial Card and Cash Advances:

Manage timely payment of monthly commercial card expenses and handle the issuance and settlement of staff cash advances.

Vendor and Staff Payment:

Ensure prompt payment to vendors, grantees, and staff members.

General Accounting Support:

Assist with general accounting functions, including processing purchase quotes, purchase orders, invoices, debit/credit notes, and receipt/payment journals.

Financial Record Accuracy:

Verify and ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial records.

Finance Document Organization:

Maintain and file financial documents in compliance with standard practices.

Bank Reconciliation and Audit Preparation:

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, audit schedules, and monitor creditors’ aging reports.

Month-End Accounts Closure:

Manage month-end closing processes for subsidiary or regional office accounts.

Ad-Hoc Duties:

Perform additional tasks as required.

Job requirements:

• Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting.
• Prior experience in charitable organizations and familiarity with MS Business Central 365 is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across various levels.
