SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

With its main branch at Carros Centre, GW Automotive Group is a fast-growing company which offers a wide selection of vehicles for retail sale, rental and leasing in Singapore. Customers can easily find the perfect vehicle with competitive rates and flexible purchasing and rental options to suit their individual needs.

We have recently opened our second branch at Link @ AMK as a part of our expansion plans and are now looking for a dedicated and committed individual as in-house Senior Accounts Executive to assist with collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances so as to help the organization to make strategic decisions to develop the business, and to provide high value-added specialized services to their clientele as well as mentoring and managing existing junior accountants.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to the Management
• Preparing financial analyses and reports
• Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Coordinate and communicate with external parties like tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and tax authorities where required
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, project accounting, and inventory accounting. 
• Ensure all supporting schedules are properly documented and maintained. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare quarterly GST returns and workings and GST reporting.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience. 
• CPA/ACCA or its equivalent would be an added advantage
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting practices and government regulations
• Proficiency in MS office, accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks and its relevant functions to perform your duties
• Experience in GST reporting is required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Attention to details, meticulous and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Reconciliation and Record Keeping
  Reconciling bank statements.
  Maintaining accurate financial records.
  Preparing audit schedules and fixed asset schedules.
  Preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
• Taxation
  Preparing tax computations for GST, which often falls under GL.
• Compliance
  Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies is a core GL responsibility.
• AP (Accounts Payable)
  Preparing and processing invoices and payments.

Job responsibilities

• To be responsible for the preparation of report required by principal and internal stakeholders

• Be responsible on minutes taking and timely submission.

• To coordinate with internal stakeholders on related matters (e.g. Finance, Human Resource Department, etc.)

• To be in-charge of ensuring documents are being submitted timely with compliance to principal and company guidelines.

• Taking ownership of tracking Work in Progress status, follow up and update status to HOD.

• Preparation of the WIP summary for monthly meeting.

• To be familiar with warranty processes and ensure company adhere to warranty policies and guidelines,

• Ensure all repair orders and invoices are kept in order.

• Any other duties or tasks that are assign by Service Manager whenever needed.

Job requirements

• GCE ‘O’ Level or GCE ‘A’ Level/ Diploma

• 3 years’ experience in relevant industry

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Quality orientation

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm

Working location: Bartley

Salary: $2000 - $2500

Job Responsibilities

• Perform carpark administrative duties.
• Handle client’s enquiries through calls and email.
• Handle client’s invoices in a timely manner.
• Assist in processing and updating client’s data.
• Perform month-end closing duties.
• Any other duties assigned.
