Specific responsibilities:

• Undertake accident/incident investigations and prepare/provide accident/incident reports where necessary.
• Undertake HSE inspections, audits and training where required.
• Provide appropriate advice to managers offering a practical and informed interpretation of Company Policies and H&S legislations in response to routine and on-routine matters to enable all operations to function effectively and consistently within established guidelines.
• To keep appraised of current HSE management best practice and theory in order to effectively advise and ensure relevant application in line with business objectives, its culture and environment.
• Maintain effective working relationships with key people in all Businesses by ensuring an appropriate level of interaction, including reactive and proactive site visits and regular written/verbal communications.
• Ensure HSE remains a focused strategy and support the management in identifying priorities and monitoring performance against strategic objectives.
• At all times exercise due regard for the health and safety of all in line with Company’s policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to Junior HSE Executive when required.
