The Role

The role involves managing comprehensive account sets, corporate and individual taxes, GST filing, and more. Responsibilities also include month-end closing, report submissions, and handling various assigned duties. Roles & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):

Client and relationship:

· Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day affairs, with supervision where necessary, and ensure that all communication, whether written or spoken in a professional manner;

· Maintain good relationship with clients;

Service provision:

· Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system

· Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on timely basis

· Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules

· Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purpose

· Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet

· Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing

· Handle corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing

· Compilation of accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report)

· Liaising with external auditor

· Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing

· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;

· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

· At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage.

· Experience of auditing or tax (corporate income tax) will be an advantage.

Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 per month

Job Responsbility

• Manage AP/AR/GL functions for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve account queries efficiently.
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure all invoices are supported with approved documentation and processed in line with financial procedures.
• Schedule payments in accordance with due dates while ensuring sufficient cash flow for operations.
• Monitor cash flow requirements and alert management of potential issues.
• Handle internal and external queries related to invoices, payments, and other financial matters promptly and professionally.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of vendor statement accounts.
• Generate management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Process purchase order (PO) requests and verify adherence to procurement policies.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to resolve discrepancies or compliance issues.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and accruals.
• Ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with accounting standards during the closing process.
• Support internal and external auditors by providing required documents, schedules, and clarifications during audits.
• Assist in finance-related system implementation projects.
• Conduct user acceptance tests (UAT) and provide feedback to improve system functionality.

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Finance/ Business/Accounting with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Microsoft Excel and Word and SAP system.
• Experience with Excel Pivotable and Vlookup is advantageous.
• Able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

About the role:

Working closely with outsourced partner, you will act as the first point of contact for employees on any HR & Admin related queries and you will be handling the following responsibilities.

Payroll & Attendance

• On weekly basis, download time attendance from the app and submit to outsource partner to update the time and attendance records. Pass the time and attendance for the Kitchen Supervisor to approve
• Ensure the payroll and leave data updates are submit timely to outsource partner
• Check payroll reports done by HR outsource partner before management approval for salary payment and CPF contributions

Compensation & Benefits:

• On weekly basis, after verifying the details, assist to approve the leave and claims for the staff. For urgent leave, they will follow up with leave submission and supporting document, if needed

Recruitment Function:

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HR experience required
• Possessing good HR knowledge and understanding of the Employment Act and the labour laws in Singapore is a must.
• Focused mainly on Payroll and Compensation.
• Required to be highly independent and possess a high level of integrity.
• Must be willing to adapt to changes in a fast paced environment
• Must be very organised and meticulous
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
