• Experience:1-3 years of experience in finance roles.
  Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an advantage.

The Role

The successful applicant will assist in preparing financial statements, tax filings, audit and other financial documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Transfer Pricing compliance and documentation, advise on the impact of changes.
• Develop transfer pricing guidelines.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (GST return & Corp. tax, etc.)
• Working with external or internal advisors/auditors (Audit & J-Sox)
• Prepare monthly reports, bank recon, manage balance sheets and profit/loss statement.
• Company Inventory (include stock take and reconciliation)
• Reconcile intercompany audit confirmation
• Annual review and update on related operation manuals
• Any ad-hoc project or duties assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least one year of accounting experience.
• Possess good time management skills
• Possess good inter-personal communication skills

The Assistant’s job is a dynamic role with a multitude of responsibilities, including:

• Ensure timely, accurate processing and reporting of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable situation to the Accountant.
• Weekly Bank Reconciliation
• Support the Accountant in her preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST), unaudited financial statements and XBRL
• Will be tasked to be solely responsible for a full set when ready
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
