We are currently recruiting for experienced Executive Engineer (Civil & Structural) to join the Singapore Office in a growing engineering consulting business.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• To work with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop structural scheme for structures and buildings.
• To carry out engineering analysis to assess the stability and load to be sustained by the structures.
• To carry out engineering design in according with Eurocodes or relevant international design codes.
• To prepare submission to authorities for approval of design.
• Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading role and embrace a culture that values teamwork
• To attend project meetings with Client, Project Manager and Consultants from other disciplines.
• To attend site progress meetings and reply to technical queries.
• To lead junior engineer in delivering design and seek clearance for all relevant parties and authorities
• To conduct supervision & contract administration when required

Key Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with design of multi-storey/high-rise building from a local engineering consulting environment will be an advantage.
• Those registered as Professional Engineer with PEB and/or have more relevant working experience will be considered for senior role.
• Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
• Competent user of relevant engineering software.
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English.
• Able to interact and work with colleagues and member of other consultants at various levels.
• A team, client and delivery focused working style.

Job Description:

• Manage large number of incoming calls. Directly work with customers by answering product and service questions; furnishing information about other products and services; process orders and prepare delivery documents; correspond with and go the extra miles to fulfill customer’s needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determine the cause(s) of the problem; discuss and propose solution; execute and follow up to ensure satisfactory closure.
• If problem was complicated or systemic, to escalate and redirect the issue to the appropriate team or department for resolution.
• Documentation and maintenance of customer records and operation details:
• Keep detailed customer records and update customer records after each interaction (such as compliment, complaint and feedback) with that customer.
• Assist the Sales and Marketing Team in boosting sales and performance. This include providing feedback on market intelligence, competitors’ activities, setting up appointments or following up with customers after their first interaction with the salesperson.
• Prepare performance and other administration reports
• Interface with various functional areas to co-ordinate scheduling activities to meet committed plans and customer’s sales / service order.
• Coordinate and resolve potential conflict of scheduling priorities and resource allocation with the plant process owners and drivers to ensure all delivery / collection activities are carried out in a timely manner.
• Conduct briefing to ensure that the drivers and assistants know their specific job scope and equipping requirements, safe work method, work schedule, delivery time frame as well as compliance with the Safe Operational Procedure, and performance standard of their assigned task.
• Monitor terms and conditions of Purchase / Work Orders received from customers and follow up closely on the delivery dates and quantity to be fulfilled.
• Assist in logistics resource forecasting and capacity planning, monitoring and motivating drivers and delivery assistants work performance, skills and training needs.
• Keeping record of work hours and trips performed by drivers and delivery assistants

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Administration / Engineering.
• IT savvy in MS office and IOT.
• Candidates with good people skills (positive, meticulous, proactive problem-solving attitude) and possess empathy, strong customer service orientation are good fits for this role.
• Interpersonal and communication skills –Good listener, blessed with ability to communicate and interrelate well with customers, colleagues and business associates from different backgrounds.
• Good planning capability: Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Mature and have minimum 3 years of experience in highly dynamic customer service and Operational planning and control work environment.
