Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Fundraising and Partnerships Executive. You will support the important work of scaling up our services and developing and growing relationships with stakeholders and the community. You will work closely with the Executive Director and will also interact with Board members, staff and volunteers.

You will be responsible for a range of fundraising and partnership initiatives, including strengthening existing partnerships, exploring new funding opportunities, fostering relationships with donor communities and corporate sponsors, and planning and executing fundraising events.

• Developing enduring relationships with donors and sponsors, and developing collaborations with community partners.
• Reviewing, planning and executing innovative fundraising initiatives such as specific campaigns and special events to support fundraising efforts and meet fundraising targets
• Strategising outreach to individuals, corporations and foundations to build and manage pipeline of existing and future donors and sponsors
• Assisting with funding proposals, grant applications and reports for government, corporate and philanthropic entities
• Conducting research, data mining and analysis for donor projects
• Ensuring compliance with statutory fundraising requirements and Code of Governance, i.e. application of licenses and appeals where applicable
• Managing Donor and sponsors through maintaining and updating records, proactively seeking out and building relationships with existing donors through consistent, sustained and valuable engagement to maintain donor loyalty and conversion
• Preparing donor reports, appeals, and impact updates to internal and external stakeholders, and appreciation letters and events
• Networking with corporations, community partners, donors, volunteers with the aim of building deeper engagement with Unlocking ADHD
• Ensuring tracking of KPIs and timely submissions of reports to required program sponsors.
• Working with the Marcomms team to develop marketing and publicity materials to support fundraising initiatives and to promote Unlocking ADHD’s causes
• Performing secretariat duties to support Fundraising or related Committees.
• Any other projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field. A background in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration would be helpful
• At least 3 years of related experience in nonprofit fundraising or project management
• Proven track record of successful fundraising, grant writing, and corporate partnership development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
• Strong numeracy and budgeting skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills, able to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with event planning, marketing, and volunteer management
• Prior experience in managing databases to track impact and results: membership database, volunteer management database, donors database.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for supporting the ADHD community and advocacy efforts to raise awareness and reduce stigma

Founded and spearheaded by Singapore University Social Sciences students, Social Gifting is set to create a community where crafting can bring people together, enable impact and enrich communities.

Social Gifting provides free crafting sessions to co-create exquisite handmade gifts with warriors, empowering them to build on their strengths and enabling them to live an enriching life with dignity. They include warriors who are fighting their battles in autism, mental illness, physical disabilities, caregivers, and seniors in social isolation.

From 2018 to Dec 2022, with the help of 1,227 volunteers, we have conducted 515 crafting sessions to co-create 68,213 gifts with 166 differently-abled crafters and generated $455,718 alternative employment income for caregivers, differently-abled crafters and charities.

This position reports to the Founder and helps to manage daily operational activities covering the full spectrum of Office, Accounting, and HR administration.

We are looking for an Accounts and HR Assistant to support office operations including but not limited to:

- Provide day-to-day support to the operations team

- Preparation of invoices using QuickBooks and Shopify

- Monitor AR status and follow up

- Inventory management

- Handle general bookkeeping and accounting duties

- Compilation of reports for submission to IRAS

- Monthly Reconciliation of bank accounts using QuickBooks

- Timesheet administration and payroll processing using Talenox

- Manage HR functions including recruitment

- Coordinate and guide students on monthly beneficiary payment and funders report

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.

• Detailed-oriented

• Good written and spoken communication skills

• Proficient in MS office

Foreign Worker Administration

• Apply, renew, and cancel work pass for foreign workers and update changes. in personal particulars and address of foreign workers via MOM.Update work permit renewal/expiry in the HR system.
• Monitoring movement of passport of foreign worker.
• Purchasing of air tickets when repatriating foreign workers.Update the movement of foreign workers list for the various sites.
• Update the changes in foreign worker accommodation in the system and relevant shared folder timely and ensure accuracies.

Recruitment

• Advertise vacancies on all major job posting sites, and on social media platforms, working with government and recruitment agencies.
• Assist HR Director for recruitments, collaborate with Operations. Managers/Directors and other stakeholders in developing temporary staffing strategies to cover extended absences or extended openings of key positions.
• Review applications to shortlist candidates.
• Conduct initial interview for the shortlist candidates.
• Forward resumes of suitable candidates to the hiring managers for their consideration.
• Arrange interview appointment between the chosen candidate and the hiring managers.
• Conduct reference and background checks if necessary.
• Prepare necessary papers for the hiring process.
• Support recruitments for HR and Operations teams with recruitment. administrative, organizational and logistical tasks.
• Serving as the logistical point of contact for both internal and external candidates at the written offer stage, including interacting directly with the candidates and ensuring signed paperwork is received in a timely manner.
• Managing various aspects of the candidate experience post offer acceptance, including ensuring accurate start dates and compliance of onboarding paperwork.
• Coordinating with the HR team to ensure correct procedures followed at all times and operational risks are minimized.
