Shipping Assistant cum Accounts

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Shipping Assistant cum Accounts to join our team at Fairteck Holding Pte Ltd. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, a diploma in a relevant field, and preferably, experience with SAP or other ERP software. This role also involves supporting the Sales Support team and handling import/export documentation.

Job Description:

· Attend to import and export shipment process and documentation preparation

· Daily tracking of export shipments and coordination with service providers

· Knowledge of shipping, custom-related issues, port operations, and permit declaration.

· Liaising closely with various forwarders for shipment confirmation and shipment arrangements

· Follow up and advise customers on shipment status

· Able to assist retail department preparing invoice and DO for daily delivery

· Input data and generate reports for retail department

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including processing invoices, payments, and tracking outstanding balances.
• Reconcile financial statements, including bank statements, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers for products or services rendered.
• ⁠Monitor and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collections.
• Submit tax filings such as GST returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Maintain updated financial records in accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements.

Administrative Duties

• Oversee general office administration, including procurement of office supplies and maintaining office equipment.
• Maintain accurate filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
• Coordinate with external vendors for services such as IT support or maintenance.
• Provide support to management by preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.

Order Taking & Service Coordination
