Accounting and Financial Management

Budgeting and Forecasting

Administrative and Operational Support

• Administer payroll processing, CPF submissions, and staff benefits.
• Process invoices for payment and refunds to customers, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Ad-Hoc Duties and Collaboration

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance to statutory requirements on revenue recognition policies and accounting standards
• Responsible for revenue recognition, journal entries and AR/GL reconciliations
• Perform and ensure timeliness in month-end closing, revenue analysis
• Preparation of monthly management report including the performance of variance analysis
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account and bank reconciliations
• Prepare bulk Giro collections
• Monitor AR ageing report and follow up with collection for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, including collection and payment discrepancies
• Issuance of invoices

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CA or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferably able to start work within short notice

• Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
• Invoice preparation and follow-up, financial statement reconciliation
• Update intenal accounting databases and spreadsheets
• Responsible for management and budgeting of cash flows
• Review effectiveness of internal controls with respect to payment cycle
• Updatig of cashbook and timely posting to the Genral Ledger
• Assist in the monthly closing of accounts includig preparation of accounting journals and quarterly GST filing

• Working Hours: 5 days, Mon - Thu (8:30 am -6 pm); Fri (8.30 am - 5.30 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse accounts and perform reconciliation.
• Produce financial reports to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate and maintain billings and reports, verify all billings are complete and reconciled to the general ledger.
• Submit periodic financial documents required by the Management.
• Handle month-end closing process, and make correction journal entries for account discrepancies, prepare closing journal entries, post accrual entries, and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Handle full accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, reconciliation) for the assigned countries region.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
• Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.
• Ensure adherence to all financial and tax reporting obligations, including GST, WHT, CIT, etc., audits and procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement to enhance financial processes.
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Position Title: Accounts Executive (Temp)
• Working Location: Pioneer (Near MRT station)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 7.45 AM – 4.45 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Track and document indirect material orders in the Accounts Payable (AP) system.
• Enter all indirect material invoices into the ERP system accurately.
• Execute payments to suppliers for indirect materials.
• Record journal entries for consumable inventory items.
• Log provisional expenses and similar items in the general journal.
• Generate and share reports on raw material purchases and inventory.
• Help with monthly expenditure reports and submitting data to the Economic Development Board (EDB).
• Keep the Fixed Asset Register and records for tooling and consumables current and correct.
• Calculate and report royalty payments for tax filing with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
• Participate in special projects as needed, such as inventory checks, audits, and tax-related tasks.
• Provide backup for other team members and carry out various additional duties.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle full set of accounts (AP/AR/GL), ensuring timely & accurate recording of transactions

- Intercompany balances & transactions reconciliation

- Month-end closing processes including accounts closing, schedules, reconciliations and management reports

- Prepare consolidation reporting packs bi-annually & annually

- Prepare & reconcile quarterly GST returns

- Analyze management reports, trends/fluctuations, collaborating across departments to support company objectives

- Cash flow management

- Ensure timely preparation & submission of required statistical reports to authorities

- Liaise closely with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretariat on audit & filing matters

- Prepare regulatory filing report, annual financial statements & corporate tax

- Support and ensure compliance with all filing requirements

- Participate in system enhancements & implementations, along with continuous process redesign & improvements

- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

- ACCA, Degree in Accountancy or related field
