THISS Technologies is a Singapore based SME providing leading edge satellite communications products and technology. We are currently looking for a hands-on, bi-lingual business administration professional.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• General business administration spanning accounts, finance, logistics, procurement, human resource management, travel administration and office management.
• Day-to-day hands-on accounting / book-keeping of AR, AP, GL and payment processing.
• Primary responsibility in handling of the full set of accounts including: regular (quarterly and annual) management reporting; group reporting; and, the external financial audit process.
• Managing regular monthly cash flow projections including reporting at both the company and group input level.
• Preparation and processing of commercial documents such as quotations, purchase orders, invoices and delivery orders. Handling shipping / deliveries, including International import / export processes.
• Assist management with written and verbal communication and translation between English and Mandarin.
• Corporate filings and reporting for CPF, GST, IRAS, ACRA, MOM, DOS, A*STAR. Assisting the Corporate Secretary and Management with the drafting and submission of corporate resolutions related to annual returns and fundraising / equity matters.
• Handling petty cash and staff expense claims.
• Meticulously organized digital and physical filing in line with the QMS process in particular for commercial control documents.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Minimum of Diploma in accounting / business administration, or equivalent recognized accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 3~4 years’ experience in a similar administrative / accounts role.
• Hands-on accounting experience in Singapore is essential. Good working knowledge of Singapore FRS, statutory requirements, tax matters, GST, CPF and internal controls.
• Professional level English and Mandarin language skills – both written and verbal. This is required to communicate effectively with our customers and international associated companies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, in particular the advanced use of Excel.

Desirable

• Higher level qualification in a related field.
• Experience with Xero accounting software.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 compliant environment.
• Familiarity with international shipping and logistics including import / export processes.

Accounts Executive | AR | Up to $3.3k | Woodlands

Salary: $3,000 - $3,300

Working hours: Monday - Friday (9am to 6:10pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all transactions are well documented.
• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of Goods Return Note.
• Coordinate local cheque bank-in and daily update of incoming funds to the NAV system.
• To ensure timely updating of customer accounts.
• Monitor and follow-up with customers on overdue account and arrange for debts collection.
• Reconcile Customer Collection with Bank Ledger.
• Responsible on monitoring monthly /weekly Debtors aging.
• Mailing of Statement of Accounts to customers and respond to their inquiries.
• Prepare Accounts Receivable monthly cash flow forecast.
• Preparation of Journal entries for accruals & other adjustment.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting
