Core Responsibilities:

• Perform Bank Reconciliations
• Generate monthly SOA & incentive statements and follow-up with payment
• Assist in the preparation of reconciliation schedules, journal vouchers, audit schedules and AR/AP aging reports
• Support in the preparation of intercompany billings and perform intercompany reconciliation
• Attend to calls from customers/dealers/insurance companies
• Assist in annual financial audit, annual returns and tax filing
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, or equivalent
• Good communication skills and command of language
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Able to work both independently and in a team setting
• Meticulous, keen eye for detail
• Good time management to meet monthly accounts closing and other ad hoc reports' deadlines

We're a corporate secretarial company that does corporate secretarial work, bookkeeping and payroll for our clients. You'll need to do full sets of accounts and unaudited financial reports, payroll processing work and preparation of tax schedules for various companies.

We have a flexi-work arrangement in the office so this position is ideal for young parents who wish to spend more time with their family but still want to be plugged into the workforce.

The position will require someone who is an independent worker and also willing to respond to clients not within set hours. This is because payroll clients can sometimes have last minute requests so the processing will need to be done very quickly. You can do it from home but the response time has to be fast.

We will require 2 days in office. 3 days can be work from home.

This is a contract position for 1 year with possibility of renewal.

• Responsible for maintaining a full set account
• File Quarterly GST return
• Perform month end closing, monthly reconciliations for financial reporting
• To provide backup support to assist in other functions of the accounting team
• Liaise with bankers, external auditors and company secretary for all statutory and regulatory requirements
• Handle employee's claims by verifying claims applications and receipts
