Cash Flow Management and Fraud Prevention:

Petty Cash Management:

• Manage petty cash accounts, manage company e-claim and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Conduct periodic reconciliations of petty cash to ensure funds are accounted for and properly utilized.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory stock take processes, ensuring inventory counts are conducted regularly and discrepancies are addressed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are managed efficiently.

Compliance and Audit Support:

• Liaise with external auditors providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in accounts payable processes.

Extended Duties and Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

• Extend support to subsidiaries and related companies as assigned by management.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties within the scope of an accounts executive's role.

The job description of an EE/SEE at Semakau Landfill (SL) are as follow:

Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $4500 + VB
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm)

Job Scope:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Collaborate closely with department heads to understand the skills and competencies required for openings to meet the organizational recruitment demands and needs.
• Proactive in assess and proposing talent sourcing posting adverts or any other relevant channels or methods.
• Select and pre-screen CVs from various sources and submit shortlisted candidates to Hiring Managers after screening candidates through phone/virtual/face to face interviews (if necessary) on a weekly basis.
• Collaborate with Marketing Department for creation of all recruitment materials; eg: recruitment posters, banners, brochures, roadshow standee, video adverts etc
• Manage & administer social media and recruitment platforms for publicity and campaign.
• Attend and source for hiring seminars/talks, campaigns and career fair opportunities to create brand awareness and collaborations.
• Update recruitment reports for all screening, interview and hiring outcomes for recruitment strategies assessment. Including recruitment cost reports.
• Assist in developing and implement HR strategies, requirements and initiatives of the organization aligned with the overall business strategy, in terms of recruitment retention, and succession planning.
• Onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Collaborate with relevant departments on employee orientation and job induction programs.
• Updating JDs on a regular basis to ensure relevancy and reflecting actual job requirements and duties

Payroll processing:

• Ensure timely processing of monthly payroll, commission calculation and all payroll related process & reports; such as CPF contributions, employee tax filing, manpower cost reports etc
• Attend to employee payroll related enquiries
• Submit relevant government surveys

Assist in:

• Assist in full spectrum of HR, HR projects, initiatives or events as required. Which include but not limited to Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management implementation, Annual Team Building, Staff Dinner, system migrations and implementations etc
• Guide and train junior department staff
• Support and assist in various ongoing staff engagement programs through effective communication and activities.
• Assist in identifying the gaps in the organization’s HR process and system and propose methods or procedures to improve them
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
