Product Development and Brand Executive
Roles & Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for providing the Head of Branding and Marketing the quarterly plan and launch proposal and key product ideas for NPD and drive the strategic objectives on category review. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders all markets in developing and implementing group NPD strategies and standards to ensure beverages meets current Revenue objectives and achieve sustainable product life cycle management.
Strategic Development
· Develop strategy and plans to drive product development within Singapore, whether expanding existing product line or extension into larger sub-lines where necessary.
· Recommend detailed marketing strategy and ideas that are in line with overall category goals.
· Spearhead and is the key driver in providing new trends and ideas for product development, up to and including sourcing and doing primary product trials for these ideas.
· Partner the internal sales team to achieve internal revenue targets and expansion plans.
· Cross function with internal operations, sales and supply chain to ensure product continuity and drive brand strategy initiatives.
Market Intelligence and Insight
· Active involvement in analysing key information about consumer, industry, stakeholders and competitive landscape to find white space for category expansion.
· Leverage global Insights and other data sources to identify high growth category opportunities.
· Analyse market data and distil implications into actionable insights.
· Stay abreast of competitor activity within focused categories.
Other Supporting Role
· Support the efficient execution of commercial project and being equally comfortable with developing business cases to get the project up and running.
· Supports Head, Group Product Development and Management, in preparation of reports and Board presentation.
Key Deliverables:
1) Weekly updates on current new projects that you are exploring and working on in a report format with timelines and progress bar updates
2) Monthly updates on revenue, and target objectives. The monthly update should include current efforts to increase brand exposure and current achievements including photos and results such as No. of Pax served and exposed, concrete feedback and comments regarding b.yond beer.
3) Quarterly brand Launch plans and NPD plans including timelines for key deliverables for each launch.
4) Active participation in conversation regarding new ideas and products.
