Job Description

Contracting Strategy & Management:

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Maintenance and Repair Executive at Cogent Container Depot Pte Ltd. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair (M&R) activities for the container depot while ensuring compliance with company standards, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing M&R operations, supervising teams, maintaining cost control, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

1. Oversee the repair and maintenance of containers in line with company policies and strategies.

2. Ensure the commissioning and operational maintenance of the container fleet to meet customer demands.

3. Direct full-spectrum operations, including container surveys, estimations, repairs, and release processes.

4. Maintain high service quality and compliance with safety and operational standards.

5. Lead and manage the M&R team, setting and monitoring individual and team goals to improve performance.

6. Conduct regular depot audits to ensure adherence to processes and standards.

7. Manage the M&R budget and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

8. Negotiate with partners to agree on rates and improve operational processes.

9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, transporters, and shipping companies.

Requirement

1. Degree or Diploma qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

2. Minimum 5 years in container depot operations or related fields

3. Technical knowledge of container equipment.

4. Possession of an IICL certification is advantageous.

5. Strong team management and leadership skills.

JOB TASKS AND SPECIFICATIONS

1. Execute strategies and customer engagement opportunities for key accounts in the specific industry sectors across Asia Pacific.
2. Assist in facilitating smooth implementation of contractual agreements.
3. Collaborate with different stakeholders to put together a plan of action for the clients and current supply chain business operations.
4. Monitor progress update of projects, initiate and implement process improvements to ensure project success.
5. Conduct research and market intelligence work to facilitate formulation of business development plans and strategies.
6. Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations and solutions in timely manner and with utmost professionalism.
7. Tracking of KPI performance
8. Provide process improvement and optimization support relating to Logistics Data Management
9. Assist in Data and Statistical Analysis.
10. Perform other job related functions as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma and above in any field
• Competent in English and Mandarin language (spoken and written)
• Good exposure in business presentation. Savvy with presentation software
• Proficient in MS. Office, Excel, PowerPoint and computer knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
