Job Description & Requirements :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Purchaser to join our team. He or She will play a pivotal role in managing our company's procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will need to have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and a proven track record of optimizing purchasing strategies to drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1) Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
2) Negotiate contract/supply agreements to secure the best price & quality of goods & services and contractual terms.
3) Manage supplier relationships, resolve supplier issues, and supply risks.
4) Overseeing the procurement process from the end-to-end supply chain includes PR requisition for delivery, ensuring timely orders fulfillment without impacting customers.
5) Analyze purchasing data and metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6) Establish and maintain a supplier relationship with regular business reviews (QBR) to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
7) Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, demands and specifications.
8) Analyse market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.
9) Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality or delivery timelines.
10) Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and new sourcing opportunities to enhance procurement capabilities.
11) Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide updates on procurement status, supply potential risks, and lead times.
12) Generate weekly reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
13) Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines during the procurement process.
14) Mentor and provide guidance to junior Buyer, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.
Qualifications :
Diploma/ Degree in Business/Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1) Possesses at least 3 ~ 5 years of purchasing experience MNC manufacturing as a Procurement Lead.
2) Proficient in MS Office and skilled in using SAP, Oracle, or similar MRP/ERP systems.
3) Strong understanding of supply chain and purchasing processes.
4) Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
5) Strong negotiation skills.
6) Good planning and analytical abilities.
7) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8) Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
