Responsibilities:

Administrative Management

• Coordinate and maintain accurate records of student candidature matters, including milestone tracking, extensions, and program variations
• Process and monitor student enrolment status, ensuring compliance with university policies and regulation
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all candidature processes and procedures
• Generate regular reports on student progression and milestone completion

Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) Administration

• Coordinate the establishment of TACs for new research students
• Schedule and organise regular TAC meetings
• Process TAC reports and follow up on recommendations
• Maintain records of supervisor arrangements and any changes

Qualifying Examination Management

• Coordinate the scheduling of qualifying examinations
• Liaise with faculty to arrange examination panels
• Prepare and distribute relevant documentation to all parties
• Process examination outcomes and maintain records

Requirements:

• Possess a recognized Diploma in higher education, arts management, or a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), as well as collaboration tools such as Teams and Zoom.
• A minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in an Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) environment.
• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Develop corporate strategy papers and reports for the board of management

Responsibilities:
