Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesaler, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Accounts Executive (AP).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the Accounts Payable process including the booking of entries, verifying vendor invoices with supporting documents, and issuing payment, ensuring that local GST is properly accounted for
• Handle staff claims and audit support
• Handle daily cash reconciliation and quarterly group bank reconciliation
• Monitoring and keeping track of the foreign currency funding requirement
• Issuance of manual debit/credit notes
• Liaising with Operations and external vendors on accounting-related matters, especially the payables related matters including supplier’s statement reconciliation
• Maintain fixed asset schedule and run monthly depreciation from system
• Posting of monthly IFRS16 entries generated from system
• Responsible for the month-end and year-end closing, i.e. Accrual journal, prepare balance sheet schedules
• Assist in ad-hoc finance project in automation of the task
• Assist in other finance work-related tasks and cover other colleagues when necessary
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Accounting or any equivalent qualifications
• Prior experience as an accounts executive / finance executive or similar roles, preferably in Food / F&B industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlooks, Words, Excel & Navision
• Team player with a positive attitude, strong analytical and excellent communication skills
• Possess a willing-to-learn and proactive attitude

Job Description

Handle MOM and other government related submissions and matters
Monitor and ensure the workers’ permits and certificates are valid and updated accordingly
Perform check in/out of workers into residence and dormitory
Work with marketing team to generate invoices and payroll
Prepare full set of accounts (AP, AR, bank reconciliation)
Close accounts and perform GST and monthly reports
Manage cash flow and internal control
Liaise with different teams and clients to ensure smooth flow of operations
Develop and improve data model
Analyse and evaluate foreign workers and clients issues and feedback to improve client satisfaction
Communicate with workers regarding workers issue and take necessary measures
Visit workers dormitory to collect timecards and resolve payroll complains (if required)
Monitor, evaluate and update workers attendance
To handle feedback and complaint and update Management accordingly
To take corrective action and implement preventive measures when required
To assist in the preparation of monthly reports, annual capital and operating budgets and other relevant reports
Other ad-hoc activities

Job Requirement

Possess at least Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Certification in business administration or equivalent
Fresh Graduates/At least 2 year of working experience
Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office
Responsible and positive with ‘can-do’ attitude
Meticulous, independent and have integrity
Able to work efficiently and effective under high pressure
Willing to work long hours if required
Able to grow with the company
