JOB ROLE

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle accounting Journals and finalize monthly trial balance and prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet schedules
• Assist in compiling cash flow data for weekly cash flow reporting
• Assist in bank forms preparation including fixed deposit placement and changes in signing arrangement.
• Handle gift vouchers issuance and reconciliation
• Keep proper accounts of payables and receivables including payments and collections
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and follow up on closing outstanding items.
• File quarterly GST returns
• Handle annual audit requirements and provide corporate tax information to tax agent in line with statutory requirements
• Handles ad hoc finance and administrative duties including supporting the sales and operations for expositions and fairs.

• Decide on proper accounting entries
• Ensure proper authorization is in place before payments are made
• Produce accurate and timely financial statements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum diploma/degree with 1 year of experience
• Handling small full sets of accounts will be an advantage
• Hands on experience in Netsuite is an advantage
• Competent in MS office

• Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information
• Predicting future financial trends
• Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
• Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets
• Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
• Analysing market trends and competitors

Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee daily activities of multiple restaurants, ensuring smooth front and back-of-house operations, adherence to service quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Training and Compliance: Drive operational excellence through regular training, inspections, and implementation of SOPs and regulatory compliance measures.
• Resource Allocation: Monitor and allocate resources effectively, addressing operational issues promptly to minimize service disruptions.
• Team Development: Lead and coach the Operations Team, setting performance metrics and individual development plans.
• Brand Promotion: Ensure consistent execution of marketing campaigns and uphold brand standards to reinforce brand identity and enhance customer experiences.
• Financial Optimization: Analyze P&L statements, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to achieve budgeted revenues and financial targets.
• Inventory and Efficiency: Implement inventory control systems to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
• Staff Management: Oversee hiring, training, and supervision of staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels, positive work environments, and career development opportunities.
• Food Safety and Compliance: Maintain food safety and sanitation standards through routine audits, training, and prompt resolution of safety concerns.
• Safety Protocols: Conduct safety inspections, enforce compliance with workplace policies, and implement preventive measures for risk reduction.
• Strategic Projects: Recommend and execute market evaluations, new product launches, restaurant refurbishments, and investment projects, including new openings and equipment purchases.
• General Support: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager to support overall business objectives.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years working experience in F&B Operations management or related industries.
• Able to work on weekends or even public holidays when required.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong knowledge in POS, Inventory system and related matters
• High level of adaptability, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What do we expect from you?

Under the general guidance of the Director of Finance, you are to implement, handle, and monitor all matters relating to customer credit and timely collection of outstanding debts.

How your day looks like?

• Timely management of invoices and receipts.
• Prepare manual invoices & credit notes where and when required.
• Process and apply payments to invoices via various modes of payment methods.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies/enquiries.
• Process and timely issuance of Statement of accounts and follow up on delinquent payments.
• Provide ad hoc support to the operations accounts team.
• Process credit applications, ensuring that clients are notified promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all invoices/statements are issued on a timely basis.
• Report on monthly accounts receivable aging analysis and detailed accounts’ ledgers.
• Guest Ledger and liaison with Front Office.
• Ensure PM accounts & guest in house daily with high balances are checked daily.
• Monitor and pursue the collection of overdue accounts.
• Hold Credit Meetings weekly and write minutes.
• Any Ad-hoc task from Director of Finance

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist the Manager / Executive in the closing of accounts / Auditing

Job Requirements

- Nitec / Diploma in Accounting or equivalen

- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience

Roles & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):

Client and relationship:

· Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day affairs, with supervision where necessary, and ensure that all communication, whether written or spoken in a professional manner;

· Maintain good relationship with clients;

· Respond to and deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner

· Ensure that the manager is kept up to date with any issues arising from the client or itsactivities

Service provision:

· Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system

· Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on timely basis

· Handle the banking of cheques into bank accounts on timely basis

· Handle accounts receivables and accounts payables

· Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules

· Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purpose

· Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet

· Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing

· Handle corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing

· Compilation of accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report)

· Liaising with external auditor

· Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing

· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;

· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Proactive and committed to meet deadline;

· Pleasant personality and organised.

· At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage.

· Experience of auditing or tax (corporate income tax) will be an advantage.

· Experience of usage of Quickbooks, Xero, SAGE will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 per month
