Account Function

Role description:

Coordinating across regions in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, the Institutional Sales and Trading Specialist will focus on the sales of Intraday Fund to institutional investors and the execution of related orders, including global listed futures. This role is crucial in not only driving the Intraday Fund business but also in leading the marketing and order management of custom D1 basket products targeting hedge funds located in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Institutional Sales and Trading Specialist will support institutional investors by providing advice on financing capabilities with proper risk management and introducing a wide range of product capabilities including custom baskets.

Other Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sales and order placements for Intraday Fund directed at institutional investors while executing related listed futures including both equities and bonds futures.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage hedge funds in Asia with our D1 custom basket products. Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• Work closely with the Tokyo Multi-Product Sales Trading Team to achieve growth targets for both Intraday Fund business and D1 business, ensuring a collaborative approach to client service.

Requirements:

• A Degree from an accredited University.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a Financial Institution with a focus on multi-product sales trading, execution of cash equity, derivatives, and mutual funds.
• Minimum of three years managerial experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese is required to provide sales support, advisory services and execute related orders of institutional investors in the Japanese market, as well as liaise with Tokyo-based sales teams.
• Basic knowledge around various securities instruments and financing methods.
• Good organization and time management skills. Should be able to work under time pressure.
• Good inter-personal and strong verbal communication skills. Should be at ease in communicating with Sales and external clients.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Senior Executive, Central Region International Marketing & Digital (Singapore)

Report To

ASEAN Marketing Manager, Central Region International Marketing

Position Summary

Accountable for implementing and executing marketing plans and initiatives in the ASEAN markets with priority focus on Singapore. Work closely with the ASEAN Manager to bring marketing campaigns to live, drive business growth and increase revenue aligned to commercial team goals.

Key Accountability

• Fully own end-to-end local marketing initiatives and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver success for the accountable market.
• Lead and work with internal cross functional team and external parties in local integrated marketing communication initiatives to achieve the set objectives by ensuring the right media touchpoints to reach the right audience at the right time with the right content.
• Implement and execute marketing plans and initiatives. Ensure marketing plans are delivered on time and meet objectives.
• Ensure local adaptation of marketing initiatives, including translation, proofreading of marketing collaterals, and ensuring local relevance in media execution.
• Work with ASEAN Manager to design effective integrated marketing communication plans that translate into achieving business objectives. • Follow established processes and procedures for marketing activities. Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and contribute to the success of marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all parties involved.

Qualification & Working Experience

• Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field would be preferable.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing; preferably in travel, tourism, or aviation industry.
• An added advantage to have a track record of driving purchase conversions through performance marketing.

Job Duties:

• Provide secretarial support to a team of junior bankers
• Handle extensive complex travel management, visa applications, that includes booking of air tickets, hotel room, car transfer, plan travel itinerary, match travel plan with business meeting schedule etc.
• Arrange logistics of tele and video conference calls, and schedule meetings including booking of meeting rooms
• Processing of expense claims and reports
• Generating various daily, monthly, and quarterly portfolio reports
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Secretarial/Executive & Personal Assistant, Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
