Key Responsibilities

Client Servicing:

About the role
We are seeking a diligent and organised Accounts Executives to join our dynamic team at Sprint-Cass Pte Ltd . This full-time position will be responsible for providing crucial administrative and accounting support to ensure the smooth running of our financial operations.

What you'll be doing : You will be executing the following tasks for Sprint-Cass Group of Companies.

• Responsible for inter-company recoverable expenses
• Performing Cash & Credit receipt in Accounts Receivable
• Performing reconciliation for POS, Bank, E-Commerce, Intercompany and Supplier transactions
• Verifying and input all vendor invoices and staff claims into the accounting system.
• Processing of monthly e-payments and ensure accuracy
• Performing Consignment Supplier settlement
• Performing Sales Submission to Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong Airport systems
• Managing weekly cash flow
• Preparing and submission of GST workings
• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities
• Providing support in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related queries
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Performing other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an Accounts Assistant/Executive role with full sets, preferably within the Retail/Distribution industry
• LCCI Diploma in accounting or other professional certificate
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and management reports within stipulated deadline
• Execute effective and efficient accounts payable, general ledger, petty cash reimbursement and fixed asset management
• Preparation of cash flow analysis and projection
• Preparation of GST reporting & income tax filing
• Dealing with and reconcile inter-company transactions and balances
• Prepare, check, verify and process invoices, delivery orders and payments, updating of cash book
• Monthly creditors' statement reconciliation
• Monitoring of daily bank balance and monthly bank reconciliation
• Responsible for handling and processing the billing to customers and ensure that all billings are correctly invoiced, recorded and payments are received timely
• Preparation of audit schedules
• Liaise with external parties e.g. banks, auditors, customers, suppliers, statutory bodies to solve any issue
• Ensure payments are made timely, with proper approval and in accordance with required supporting documents
• Liaise with various departments to resolve issue on closing monthly accounts
• Maintain and reconcile financial statements
• Assist to review internal control to ensure work are done properly and effectively
• Assist to review, troubleshoot and recommend enhancements to existing workflow and financial accounting system
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirement:

• Diploma in Accountancy/ LCCI, equivalent or above
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good written and verbal skill
• Preferably experienced in handling full set account
• Preferably experienced in Globe3 ERP system
• Pro-active, hardworking, organized, possess self-discipline
• Willing to learn, independent & meticulous
• Able to handle stress, tight deadlines and multi-tasking
• Willing to work overtime as required
• Demonstrate team behavior and promotes a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and computer skill
• Experience in Construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily finance operations (includes payments, receipts, AP & AR transactions);- Assist in partial/full set of accounts and prepare balance sheet schedules and ensure
• timely, complete and accurate recording of accounting entries into MYOB accounting
• system;
• Posting of month-end closing journal entries;
• General office administration such as: filing, scanning, photocopying, archiving, office
• supplies;
• Assist in preparing documents for submission of government grant claims;
• Manage and handle documents, records and maintain an organized filing system.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Manager in-charge

Requirements

• LCCI or Diploma in Accounting;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Fast learner with strong sense of initiative & good communication skills- Able to work independently with minimum supervision

The position:

• Handling in walk in and call enquiries
• Ensure timely & accurate recording of invoices in Xero
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on any discrepancies in invoices & other supporting documents
• Review monthly reconcillation of supplier statements
• Ensure compliance of company process/procedures
• Maintain an efficient and systematic filing system
• Other HR administrative duties including monthly manpower reporting

Requirements:

• Candidates with minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred
• Diploma in equivalent profession
• Positive working attitude, meticulous with efficiency
• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Excel
