Job Description:

• Ensure FOODHALL and Hospitality operational and presentation standards are delivered consistently and with excellence aligned to M&S Food Way, TSL , SOPs and key principles , across our store formats.
• Provide Buyers with timely feedback on all appreciation and markdown actions, including the anticipation of aged/slow-selling merchandise, and ensure the effective clearance of inventories by serving as the central point of contact.
• Collaborate with the Store Managers/Food Sales Managers to attain the highest possible level of customer satisfaction, optimal operational efficiency, and key business KPIs.
• Collaborate with the FOod Buying Managers/team to ensure the successful implementation of the business strategy (FOOD strategy) at the local level.
• Collaborate with Logistics/Supply Chain to execute and streamline the day-to-day Foodhall operations.
• Partner closely with the key stakeholder teams to execute on new store Foodhall openings, Food expansion initiatives, store renovation projects in FOODHALL
• Act as the SG FOOD topline/cost reduction VOICE, driving innovations, solutions, and recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior management to deliver continual improvements in the food retail business.
• Collaborate with the experts to establish a sustainable framework that will sustainably maintain the high standards of the food business

Requirements:

• Diploma in Retail Management or related field is preferred
• At least 5 years’ experience in food business management, of which at least 3 years holding leadership responsibilities
• Experience in delivering a high standard of food display and product ranges
• Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills to optimise Business trading performance
• Leadership and influencing skills
• Good in numbers and well versed in MS Excel

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for the proper loading and unloading of Company’s products in accordance to the Company’s guidelines, rules and regulations
• Perform transportation duties as deployed by the supervisor and carry out the duties diligently as per instructed.
• Adhere to schedule of catering delivery orders and collection to island wide places
• Coordinate with salesperson on customer’s order before delivery
• Ensure the timely delivery of product to each destination, plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Inventory control for catering equipment used for upon collection of order
• Maintaining cleanliness and provide basic service for assigned delivery vehicle
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients customers
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Understanding with and complying with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Min 4 years of experience in related industry
• Must have a valid class 4 driver's license with clean driving record; Company’s vehicle is not allowed to drive home
• Must be able to work long hours, flexibility to work weekends and Public Holidays if required with prolonged period of standing (strictly off day on weekdays)
• Required to work in hot and humid working environment
• Must have ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (eg. at rush hour)
