About the Role

If you are looking to kickstart your career in finance or take on a new opportunity within this field, we are seeking a new Accounts Executive to join our vibrant Singapore office.

In this role, you will support with a range of finance tasks across both sales and purchase ledger and quickly take on significant responsibilities within the team. You will work alongside our Accounts Executive in Singapore and the wider Finance team in our UK-based Global Headquarters, as well as our Office Administrator in Shanghai to provide financial support for the Shanghai office.

Key responsibilities will include:

The Recruitment Process

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, costing, financial statements and GST reporting.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, schedules, analysis and management reports timely.
• Monthly bank reconciliation.
• Assist in daily cash application of receipts.
• Assist in month-end close and reporting.
• Prepare reconciliations and audit schedules.
• Liaise and coordinate with associates, tax agent, auditors, corporate secretary and support superior on other accounting duties as in assigned.
• Prepare and file GST returns .
• Assist in tax and audit matters.
• Assist with ad-hoc project as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in full set account
• Singaporean / Singapore Permanent Resident only are welcome to apply
• Work independent and meticulous

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
• Prepare GST tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• To receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment (AP & AR).
• Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions.
• Review documents such as purchase orders or records in order to compute charges due.
• Contact customers in order to obtain or relay account information.
• Other general accounting duties as assigned.
