• Main Function - Accounts receivable, including Credit Control, process documents received from customers, monthly accrual Journals, manage a small set of Malaysia’s accounts
• Process and prepare accounting source documents such as cheque payment, payment vouchers, manage stationeries etc
• Filing and custody of accounting documents assigned
• To follow up with Customers on payment issues
• To support in preparation of weekly, monthly accounting reports needed for audit or management reporting
• Ad hoc analysis, project work and duties assigned

Job Requirements

• With at least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Words, Outlook)
• Candidate with knowledge of Microsoft Navision Accounting system will have competitive advantage

To support the Accounts team to

• Update authors’ contacts and payment details
• Screen incoming emails relating to royalty enquiries and provide timely response
• Organise and collate printed royalty statements for authors for mailing
• Assist in cheque / EFT payments to authors
• Assist in stock count
• Assist Accounts payable trade invoice processing
• Other accounting related assignments

Requirements

• GCE A Level / Diploma or equivalent
• Highly organized and meticulous
• Good written and communication skills to handle authors’ queries
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Minimal supervision
• Work well in a team

Job Scope:

• Handle AP/AR issues
• Assist in the closing of monthly accounts, timely and in accordance to the guidelines of the HQ
• Produce and maintain the monthly reports for various heads of department
• Prepares ad-hoc analyze/reports and attends to queries as and when required
• Assist in the preparation of audit & tax schedules
• Other work as required by management from time to time

Job Requirement:

• Min. Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period
• Able to commit for 6 months or longer
