• Keeping full set of accounts for several crewing entities, including preparation of financial statements, relevant reconciliation reports and audit schedules
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbook, fixed assets and general ledger functions
• Maintain individual accounts receivable and accounts payable subledgers and make adjustment whenever necessary, including generating and posting sales invoices in the ERP system, posting of supplier invoices in the system for approval and payments

Our Client:

Our client is an established Real Estate company, headquartered in Japan. They are currently looking for an Accounts Executive to join their Singapore Office.

The Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll regularly and work closely with our HR consultant to ensure compliance of Employment Act and taxation policy.
• Responsible for monthly CPF contributions, tax clearance/ annual tax filing.
• Responsible for yearly AIS submission, ECI filing, assist tax agent on corporate tax filing, support external auditor and headquarters’ auditor during annual audit process.
• Prepare invoicing, debit and credit notes, payments, issuance of cheques/ TT and e-filing duties, bank reconciliation, cashflow statements.
• Responsible for month-end accounts closing, full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL). Consolidate monthly Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable & bank reconciliation.
• Handle all administrative duties relating to HR matters and claims.
• Maintain employee P-file including attendance and leave records
• Handle the onboarding, offboarding, and employee welfare.
• Handle insurance & license renewals (Medical Insurance, Office Insurance & etc)
• Maintain local office daily operations such as ensuring IT system stability by managing our IT subcontractor, handling incoming/ outgoing mails, pantry & miscellaneous supplies.
• Ad hoc job duties, projects and initiatives as assigned.

The Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft and database skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Meticulous and attention to details.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accounts Executive is responsible for entire finance matters in the company and ensure full accounting compliance with the necessary auditing and legislative requirements. Responsible for keeping and updating of all employees’ records and files.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure complete, up-to-date, accurate and accessible records are kept for all employees.

2. Support other day-to-day administrative/operational matters.

3. Preparation of GL journals, accruals and prepayments.

4. Control account reconciliations (all Bank accounts and AR/AP/Expense/Petty cash ledgers)

5. Preparing invoices & statutory taxes payable.

6. Checking expense claims and processing payments.

7. Monthly balance sheet & P&L analysis.

8. Resolution of ad hoc management accounting queries.

9. Liaise with auditors and tax consultants on statutory compliance where necessary.

10. Key liaison points for all finance matters and queries by management team and auditors.

11. Works on payroll.

12. Other finance/administration ad-hoc work assigned.

13. Ensure all KPI target is achieve.

14. Support production and quality department in resolving in resolving all technical issues of the products and make disposition on products e.g. feasibility analysis of product usage for customer.

15. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.

16. Adheres company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.

17. Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.

18. Promote and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:

· Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing

QUALIFICATION GUIDE

1. Education : Diploma/Degree in accounting

2. Communication : Fluent both in oral and written English and/or Chinese

3. Experience : 3-4 Years relevant experience in accounting

4. Software/Hardware : Proficient in Excel Program
