Main Responsibilities:

• Cargo payment and receivable entries
• Miscellaneous payment and receivable entries
• Payment and receivable entries for local suppliers
• Draft payment to local suppliers/Reimbursement in bank and submit for approval.
• Month end closing/ Year end closing
• Filing of documentations (Bank charges, Miscellaneous Payment, Cargo Accounting Entries and Expense Reports)
• Keep digital copy of approval and supporting documents (PDF)
• Keep Original (Physical) receipts of local payments
• Daily Cashflow Reports
• Expense reports checking and approval
• Adhoc projects and reports at request by management.
• Knowledge to Sage 300 system is an added advantage (not criteria)

• Minimum Diploma holder
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates

Job Description:

• Manage all accounting transactions (fullsets of accounts)
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Payroll processing from end to end

Requirements:

• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like AutoCount
• Experience with general ledger functions

Responsibilities

• Administer the accounts payable processes, including verification of invoices against purchase orders, confirmation of receipt for purchased goods and services and resolves any discrepancies
• Enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper documentation and approvals and timely processing of payments according to agreed-upon terms and company policies
• Ensure employee expense claim reports are in compliant with company policy.
• Reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies, respond to vendor inquires regarding payment status and any payment-related issues
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in organizing and systematically categorizing records of accounting documents
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by immediate superior

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics BC, Navision) is advantageous.
• Meticulous, strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
