• To plan, coordinate and schedule successful business meetings. Liaise closely with government agencies, embassies/high commissions, and international companies.
• Explore various techniques to communicate effectively over the telephone, email, and face to face. Understand the process of engaging with foreigners to find out their preferences and requests to schedule meetings.
• Work on our online system to generate personalised meeting schedule between VIP delegate and exhibitor.
• Maintain excel database and keep up to date the meeting arrangements scheduled. To analyse data for post-show reports.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma holder.
• Preferably with 1 year of experience in related field, applicants with no experience may apply too.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel – skilled in data organization, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong command of English – able to write and converse effectively and professionally.
• Comfortable interacting with people of diverse cultural backgrounds – adept at building rapport with foreign delegations and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized – capable of efficiently handling multiple tasks and managing communication with various individuals to schedule business meetings.
• Thrives under pressure – embraces challenges and demonstrates a strong work ethic, especially during peak periods leading up to events.
• Technologically savvy and quick to learn new systems – adaptable and eager to stay updated with the latest tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer core system like Active Directory Services, Data Centre and server storage
• Manage communication tools like video conferencing, audio systems and telephony
• Configure and maintain network devices such as firewalls, routers, VPN and etc
• Ensure systems are backed up automatically and create disaster recovery plans
• Monitor system resources (CPU, storage) and apply patches
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met
• Write and update user guides and administration manuals
• Provide technical support to both Local and Overseas (via LAN/WAN)
• Provide L1/L2 support in IT projects
• Other IT related duties

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent
• Familiar with internet architecture designs (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy, Firewall)
• Preferably with experience of Veeam, VMware, and UNIX/Linux
• Familiar with devices like Alcatel PABX, FortiGate Devices, Cisco and Unifi Wireless AP Controller would be advantageous
• Bilingual in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking overseas counterparts
