About the Role

Accounts Executive (AR)

• Salary: $3,000 - $3,300

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all transactions are well documented.
• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of Goods Return Note.
• Coordinate local cheque bank-in and daily update of incoming funds to the NAV system.
• To ensure timely updating of customer accounts.
• Monitor and follow-up with customers on overdue account and arrange for debts collection.
• Reconcile Customer Collection with Bank Ledger.
• Responsible on monitoring monthly /weekly Debtors aging.
• Mailing of Statement of Accounts to customers and respond to their inquiries.
• Prepare Accounts Receivable monthly cash flow forecast.
• Preparation of Journal entries for accruals & other adjustment.
• Preparation of monthly and year-end Balance Sheet schedules.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors.
• Looking into strengthening current and process improvement
• Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Sets Accounts
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor communication.
• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and update the general ledger.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Expense Management: Assist in tracking business expenses and ensuring that expenditures are properly categorized and documented.
• Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate data entry for employee payments, deductions, and benefits.
• Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Tax Documentation: Support the preparation of tax filings and assist with tax compliance requirements.
• Audit Assistance: Prepare documents and assist during internal and external audits as required.
• Provide support for ad-hoc accounting projects and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Netsuite) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.

Candidate should be

- Responsible for Full Set accounting. (AP, AR & GL) (using Xero system).
- Corporate Tax computations.
- Handle and maintain a spectrum of accounting functions using XERO.
- Monthly Payroll, CPF submission, and staff claims.
- Follow-up customer outstanding.
- Cashflow management and to perform bank statement reconciliation.
- Perform accurate data entry to the account system.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Housekeeping and filing of finance documents.
- In charge of stock inventories and resolve if there any discrepancies.
- Perform month-end closing for the financial report within the timeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Part-time, flexible hours (twice per week in office only)
• Prepare and assist with the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements monthly
• Issue monthly invoices, submit monthly CPF and GST filings
• Ensure all administrative compliance with ACRA and IRAS Policies
• Collaborate with internal team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain detailed and organized records to support financial reporting needs
• Generate monthly payroll, staff claims, payment to suppliers and contractors
• Assist in staff HR Matters and other administrative duties when tasked

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of GST accounts and record transaction data accurately.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation, financial reporting, closing statements, and manage AR/AP.
• Reconcile POS system transactions, including cash, bank, and credit card payments.
• Update fixed assets and depreciation records in accounting software.
• Prepare and review supplier payments, ensuring compliance with credit terms.
• Track and verify expenses, cash claims, and card usage submitted by outlet heads.
• Generate and maintain payroll and salary reports.
• Update attendance records, leave schedules, overtime, etc.
• Stay updated on MOM guidelines and implement changes as required.
• Handle general administrative tasks and other ad-hoc duties as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience managing full-spectrum accounts, preferably in F&B.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with cross functional team.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to multi-task efficiently.
• Independent, collaborative, and a good team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Familiarity with Xero accounting, Zealys payroll, ePOS systems, and credit card portals.
• 5-day work week, immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
• No quota for foreign staff who need for working pass.
