Roles and Responsibilities:
• Handle full sets of accounts for more than 10 entities
• Prepare month-end journals, schedules and reconciliation of general ledger to support monthly ledger closing and reporting schedules
• Perform daily accounting operational duty such as review and posting of invoices, payments and receipts
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS, SRFS) & company policies
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other statutory bodies/authorities on internal and external audit matters, and all statutory and tax/GST tax requirement compliances
• GST preparation and ACAP review
• Prepare and respond to surveys when required
• Lead and manage a small team of executives in the Finance department
• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as when required by the management team
Requirements:
• Diploma in Accounting or professional certificate or equivalent
• Work experience in local audit firms and listed companies preferred
• Good hands-on experience with accounting systems, preferably MS Navision/Dynamics NAV
• Full set of accounts experience and good understanding of IFRS, SFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• A team leader and team worker mind-set
• Work well in challenging, fast-paced and deadline-oriented environments
• Good proficiency in MS Excel (pivot, v-lookup)
• Good analytical skills with strong problem-solving skills
• Preferably able to start work immediately or within short notice
