Duties

• Manage the full set of accounts for subsidiaries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and rental invoicing.
• Monitor AR collections, process payments, and update bank movements for payments and collections.
• Prepare audit schedules, quarterly management reports, GST schedules, and journal vouchers.
• Assist in preparing audited financial statements in compliance with IFRS and corporate tax computations.
• Support annual budgeting for subsidiaries and handle cash flow reports, projections, and bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and address inquiries related to payments, collections, loans, and fixed deposits.

Requirements

• Min Diploma qualification in accounting / or currently pursuing ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in relevant industry

Key Responsibilities

The Role

You shall be reporting to Senior Finance Manager and working closely with Head of Finance.

1. Bookkeeping and Financial Records:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for two entities, including tenant-related transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts monthly.

2. Accounts Payable Operations:

• Process supplier invoices for 3-4 group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure timely settlement of liabilities.
• Manage vendor relationships and address any invoice or payment queries.
• Verify payment documentation to ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures.

3. Tenant Management:

• Prepare and issue invoices to tenants.
• Track rental payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Handle tenant queries regarding invoicing and payments professionally.

4. Month-End Closing:

• Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules and reports.
• Ensure compliance with reporting timelines and accuracy of financial data.

5. Compliance and Audit:

• Support annual audit processes by preparing audit schedules and liaising with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Your Profile

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Open to consider candidates who are currently pursuing an accounting professional qualification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Lucanet) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple entities and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the property management or real estate industry is a plus.
