Job Responsibilities:

- Perform data entry using accounting software

- Reconcile accounting records and bank records

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.

- Process staff claims and handle petty cash disbursements by recording entry and verifying documentation.

- Maintain proper filling and documentation (both electronic and physical)

- To provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence and maintaining office supplies

- To perform receptionist duties, including receiving visitors in the office, managing incoming general calls and assist with travel arrangement when necessary

- Any other ad hoc tasks that assigned by the management.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance and Accounts Executive to manage our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. The role involves bookkeeping, issuing client invoices, preparing and processing payments, chasing overdue payments, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will also prepare financial reports and provide support for financial planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Issue invoices to clients and ensure timely follow-up for payment collections.

• Prepare payment schedules and process payments to vendors and payroll.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.

• Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Support other finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR management, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Experience with Quickbooks or Xero.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Junior Accounts Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and support tasks to the Finance department, playing a key role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.

What You Will Do At Quant Matter?

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including entering invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling bank statements.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance, recording and categorizing financial transactions.
• Prepare and subm it basic financial reports, such as accounts payable and receivable aging reports, and reporting to management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and other accounting tasks as assigned.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with annual financial audits.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
