Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to startups or distribution businesses being a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Autocount, Navision) and financial modeling tools.

Reporting Structure:

This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the technology startup and the General Manager for the medical device distribution company.

The role requires the incumbent to manage the financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and handle various financial reporting tasks.

The individual must be detail-oriented, experienced in accounting, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of all financial records in compliance with applicable accounting principles.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports, providing data for decision-making.
• Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Liaise with auditors and support all audit processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to gather necessary financial data and support organizational objectives.
• Demonstrate a commitment to working full-time at our Batam facility and managing responsibilities independently.

Requirements

• A degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

• Generate invoices, delivery orders, credit/debit notes, and statements of accounts
• Follow up on outstanding AR invoices
• Track project maintenance and billing milestones
• Update receipts and maintain AR files
• Prepare AR aging reports and escalate collection issues
• Communicate with stakeholders on billing or payment queries
• Perform GST output tax reconciliation

Month-End Closing

• Prepare monthly schedules
• Complete other assigned duties

Requirements:

As an Accounts Receivable Executive, you will play a crucial role as you will be responsible for managing the organization's receivables, ensuring the timely collection of payments from clients, and maintaining accurate records. This role reports to the Assistant Finance Manager and plays a vital part in maintaining healthy cash flow and financial stability.

Responsibilities:

· Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to clients.

· Ensure invoices comply with contractual terms and relevant regulations.

· Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts receivable.

· Coordinate with clients to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.

· Apply cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts.

· Reconcile discrepancies between accounting records and customer payments.

· Assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients.

· Establish and maintain credit limits and terms.

· Generate regular reports on accounts receivable aging and cash collections.

Requirements:
