EDUCATIONAL / SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Banking and Finance / Bachelor of Business Administration
• At least 1-2 years of experience in supporting office accounts functions.
• Proficient in MS office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to provide additional administrative support when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger; prepare financial statements and reports; ensure timely closing procedures.
• Develop annual budgets with senior management and provide financial forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage GST reporting, tax submissions, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, optimize accounts receivable and payable cycles, and maintain banking relationships to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Establish robust internal controls to protect assets and improve accounting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform financial analysis to inform business strategies and assist department heads in managing costs effectively, leading special projects when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Accreditation from a recognized professional accounting body such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CA (Chartered Accountant) Singapore, or CPA Australia is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong understanding of SFRS (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards), tax planning, and compliance requirements in Singapore.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
