The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):

Client and relationship:

· Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day affairs, with supervision where necessary, and ensure that all communication, whether written or spoken in a professional manner;

· Maintain good relationship with clients;

· Respond to and deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner

· Ensure that the manager is kept up to date with any issues arising from the client or itsactivities

Service provision:

· Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system

· Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on timely basis

· Handle the banking of cheques into bank accounts on timely basis

· Handle accounts receivables and accounts payables

· Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules

· Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purpose

· Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet

· Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing

· Handle corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing

· Compilation of accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report)

· Liaising with external auditor

· Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing

· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;

· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounts Executive duties and responsibilities are as follows:

· Handle full set of accounts for monthly closing which includes :-

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Accounts Executive to join our finance team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the accounting department in various functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and contributing to the smooth running of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Provide support in processing payroll for both office staff and ship crew, including data entry, verifying timesheets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing payments to vendors, recording customer receipts, and managing outstanding invoices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the general ledger system.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that bank records match company records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Assist in managing cash flow, monitoring account balances, and ensuring timely payments.
• Provide support to the accounting team with other accounting-related inquiries and tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as in a similar accounting role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Responsible in handling full set of accounts, from journal posting, preparation, and closing of monthly accounts and reconciliations until reporting.
• Monitor and check both accounts receivable and accounts payable. Reeif AP/AR when required.
• Responsible for all Group’s report submission.
• Cash flow report submission weekly.
• Prepare monthly Forecast report.
• Liaise with Commercial team and Ops team for jobs done, finalise monthly job list.
• Manage quarterly GST reporting.
• Prepare schedules for year-end audits and ensure timely submission of all statutory obligations, such as audited accounts and various returns.
• Engage with auditors and promptly respond to any inquiries.
• Engage and manage year tax submission.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Any AD-hoc work if required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Diploma/Degree in Accounting.
• A good team player able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A proactive attitude and accountability for one's own work.
• Meticulous, with attention to details.
• Willing to work after office hour if required.
• Experience with NetSuite is an added advantage.
• Preferably Singaporean / PR

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Checking of reports

2. Record the company’s Bitcoin mining machine data

3. Check the externally hosted electricity bills

4. Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies

5. Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, recording bank documentation, and filing documents

6. Generate monthly reports detailing accounts receivable status and end-of-period

7. Ensure continuous improvement of processes

8. Attention to detail and communication abilities

9. All other duties as assigned.

Work Location: Central Region

Required/Preferred Skills:

• Certificate in Nitec/Diploma in Accounting or other relevant certificate
• PC literate with Microsoft Excel and XERO accounting software
• Basic accounting principles and key finance terms
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to work both independently and / or within a team environment
• Attention to detail – follows procedure accurately and carefully and completes report or other documents accurately

Salary:

$3,000- $3,500 per month
