Job Description: Our client, based near Tai Seng, is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to support the Financial Controller in daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a full set of accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform day-to-day accounting transactions
2. Handle journal entries, general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR)
3. Ensure accuracy of payments, amounts, and records
4. Work with spreadsheets, general ledgers, and journals
5. Record and file cash transactions
6. Control credit and manage debt collection
7. Process invoices and payments
8. Handle expense claims and reimbursements
9. Perform bank reconciliation
10. Liaise with third-party providers, banks, clients, and suppliers
11. Conduct internet banking transactions
12. Knowledge of multi-currencies is an added advantage
13. Other accounting-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with full set of accounts
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of SAP Business One is an added advantage
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Meticulous and detail-oriented

Additional Information: This position is a six-month temporary contract to cover maternity leave to start in February

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
• Prepare and issue invoices, packing lists, credit notes, and debit notes using the MYOB accounting software to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor and process customer purchase orders (PO) efficiently, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Regularly update and maintain records, suggesting improvements and enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
