Responsibilities

Banking

• Provide monthly bank reconciliations including forex reinstatement
• Check bank charges and interests
• Correspondence and coordination with banks for accounts maintenance, new accounts, account closures and KYC changes etc.

Monthly Accounts

• Ensure revenue recognition, cost relevance, accruals and provisions etc.
• Should be hand on to prepare monthly reports incl. Trial Balance, Profit and Loss a/c, Balance Sheet, Segment wise accounts, Income Tax and Withholding tax, Investment, Debtors and Creditors Ageing, adjustment of forex gain/loss.
• Preparation of fixed asset and depreciation statement.
• Upkeep robust accounting software and optimize Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers & Cost Categories etc.
• Regular account ledger scrutiny, flag non-moving balances, receivable & payable management, cross matching revenue and balance sheet items.
• Prepare and maintain various dashboard reports relating to receivables, payables, cash flow plan, compliance calendar, actual and projected financial performance etc.

Audit

• Closing entries and preparation of audit schedules and detailed working papers with mapping.
• Work closely with auditors and ensure timely and smooth audit
• Maintain complete audit working files for each financial year
• Review final draft financial statements as per accounts and applicable accounting and financial reporting standards

Secretarial / Tax / Transfer Pricing Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of Form ECI, Form C, IR8A, IR21, CPF, etc. and payment of tax
• Transfer pricing table preparation, hands-on support and coordination with Consultants for report issuance and timely assistance to related parties for docs and information required by them from time to time.
• Maintain registers and record for shares, registered address, directors, board and general meetings including minutes and ensure timely filing of annual return and XBRL

Others

• Willingness to assist in trade / operation, HR and admin matters on need basis
• Ensure maintenance of auditable documentation for current and past periods as required under tax and company law.

Job Description:

The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks. This position ensures the accuracy of financial records, assists with financial reporting, and maintains efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the finance team to uphold compliance with accounting standards and contribute to the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Tasks:
   • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
   • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses in a timely manner.
   • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
2. Data Entry and Reporting:
   • Input and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems.
   • Assist in generating financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
3. Administrative Support:
   • Manage accounts payable and receivable records.
   • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
   • Organize and maintain financial documentation and filing systems.
4. Compliance and Auditing:
   • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
   • Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CAT, LCCI, or ACCA Foundation) are a plus.

Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with colleagues, vendors, and clients.

Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive

Job Descriptions:

1. Responsible for preparing the full sets of financial statements for subsidiary companies, ensuring that monthly financial reports and supporting schedules are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Perform daily accounting and finance duties, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, tax compliance, and bank reconciliations.

3. Prepare monthly cash flow projections, the annual budget, and ad-hoc forecasts.

4. Prepare statutory filings, including financial statements and tax-related documents (corporate tax and GST).

5. Liaise with the auditors to ensure timely completion of audit and preparation of audited financial statements.

6. Ensure that internal controls are in place.

7. Any other assignments or duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. A Degree in Accounting with a professional qualification preferred

2. A Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in the real estate sector

3. Able to work at least for 1 year contract

4. Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and a high level of integrity

5. Ability to multi-task, handle urgent requests and work in a fast-paced environment

6. Proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and a "can do" attitude

7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Navision), and Cognos is an advantage

8. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

9. Flexible, with an inquisitive mind and a strong willingness to learn and take on new finance-related tasks

Job Description:
- Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system
- Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on timely basis
- Handle the banking of cheques into bank accounts on timely basis
- Handle accounts receivables and accounts payables
- Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules
- Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purpose
- Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
- Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing
- Handle corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing
- Compilation of accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report)
- Liaising with external auditor
- Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;
- Proactive and committed to meet deadline;
- Pleasant personality and organised.
- At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage.
- Experience of auditing or tax (corporate income tax) will be an advantage.
- Experience of usage of Quickbooks, Xero, SAGE will be an advantage.

Compensation:
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
