Job Description

NUS Enterprise is seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to join the team involved in running entrepreneurship programmes (i.e. Master of Science in Venture Creation, Postgrad and CET Programmes, Graduate Certificates and Professional Certificates Programmes). This is part of the NUS Enterprise Academy with broad responsibilities in nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The new member will work alongside the existing team and be primarily responsible for:

• Managing new/existing programmes involving local and international students and entrepreneurs, including the administration of student related matters, internship placements, etc.
• Overseeing running of new programmes/initiatives involving international students/ startups
• Lead and drive the team operational support including providing administrative support to the team lead and devising SOPs for team’s operational processes
• Managing and building the community of programme participants, alumni and partners
• Building relationship with key partners and stakeholders involved in the various programmes and initiatives
• Planning and overseeing marketing and outreach for new programmes/projects and to build potential participants pool
• Developing and managing shared work processes and knowledge/data depositories relating to the programmes and initiatives
• Planning and organising outreach activities to grow network of startups and partners for future participation or collaboration

Qualifications

• Degree Holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven project/programme management skills
• Leadership experience would be an advantage, but not a must
• Entrepreneurial experience and knowledge on entrepreneurial trends in Singapore and globally would be an advantage, but not a must
• Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, have broad background to understand innovation and entrepreneurship
• Resourceful and comfortable in fast changing environment
• Effective team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - good grasp of written and spoken English, good knowledge of secondary language will be an advantage
• Outgoing personality who enjoys building and growing network of connections with students, startups, corporates, ecosystem builders, etc.
• Willingness to travel overseas, where needed
• Experience with SkillsFuture Grant applications and processes

• End-to end accountability for all IT Operations for e-Mobility portfolio supporting all products & services that enable operations for e-Mobility charging points & sites.

• Responsible for interfacing with the IT Manager and Mobility function and accountable for the operating plan, budget and operational lifecycle of services and products

• Responsible for managing supplier performance and contracts, managing incidents to closure, reviewing changes & driving problem management.

• Responsible for reviewing the landscapes and products for enhancement and continuous improvement opportunities

• Responsible for information risk management and IT Controls compliance, as well as conformance to Health and Safety policies and legal and regulatory requirements

• Responsible for the identification of systemic issues in IT Landscapes, driving structural improvements while balancing costs with business value; in optimizing landscape Total Cost of Ownership.

• Regularly interfaces with leaders at GM level, and periodically at VP level and above.

• Responsible for Operational Readiness for new demand, changes and projects impacting the portfolio – including analysing and understanding business functional and non-functional requirements – and provides sign off, with Agreement to Deploy and Agreement to Operate as key milestones.

• Ensure effective Major Incident (MI) management and swift service restoration (during Major Incidents) for Business Critical landscapes

• Responsible for bottom-up budgeting of IT services, mapping top-down figures to existing services, and monitors spend against budget, seek adherence to the budget as planned, assist in developing the latest estimates per quarter. Works closely with the relevant teams to ensure prompt payment of invoices.

• Management of contracts including developing the contract, technical evaluation, contracts performance evaluation & renewal/closure of contracts.

• Ensuring adequate business controls are in place across the processes used in support of the site service delivery including controlling of the contract expenditure.

Requirement:

Ø Years of Experience: 10+ years of corporate IT experience

Ø Minimum Education or Certification: Master Degree related to IT or equivalent

Ø Proven experience in IT Service Management, at least 5 years’ experience in IT operations

Ø Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage: experience in the electric mobility, retail or transportation sector.

Ø Be adept in leading large natural teams including multiple third parties

Ø Excellent oral and written presentation skills

Ø A continuous improvement mindset to drive operations of the future

Ø Proven customer focus and empathy

Ø Ability to build strong collaborative partnerships with senior business stakeholders

Ø Resilience, courage and the willingness to challenge and manage business expectations

Ø Knowledge on EV and e-Mobility will be an added advantage

Ø Knowledge on Cloud & Telecoms/connectivity will be an advantage

IT Sales Account Executive/Manager (Government Projects)

As part of a dynamic sales team responsible for identifying and developing key government accounts, you should be adept at spotting new opportunities and be required to operate outside your comfort zone to achieve results.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop and manage accounts to achieve sales targets
• Lead, strategise and drive the sales bid process to secure new business deals
• Promote company’s consultancy, solutions and software
• Work with team of pre-sales consultants to prepare tender proposals and presentations

Prerequisites:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Marketing or Business
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in corporate function, experience in handling government accounts will have added advantage
• Sales experience in handling government accounts will have added advantage
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales and Account Management in government sectors (SI) is an added advantage
