A company in healthcare manufacturing industry is currently looking for an AP Accounts Executive to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the manager, the incumbent will be responsible to manage daily AP operations, cash management, process monthly invoices and key invoices into the system, preparing and process payment, assist with month end closing, AP reconciliation, and resolve issues related to AP invoices.

The role will include some portion of AR as well, where the incumbent will be responsible to manage AR balance, process receipts, resolve discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and following up with invoices.

The Role

The primary responsibility of the AP Analyst is to manage the accounts payable process end to end driving high quality, strong controls and financial discipline. The role includes processing incoming invoices from global suppliers, recording accounting entries, instructing payments and managing internal and external relationships. The role also includes supporting the wider finance team to achieve continuous operational improvements using technology and automation.

We work in the office at least 4 days per week, with 1 work from home day if desired.

Responsibilities

· Accounting for invoiced costs, including month end journal posting and control processes.

The Accounts Officer is responsible for processing credit application, invoicing, debt collection, account receivable cashiering, reconciliation and month end requirement. He/ She must ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various debtor accounts and ensure they are posted on a timely basis. The Accounts Officer has to manage the overall credit and receivable collection functions of the hotel in the most efficient manner in order to minimize the no-payment of accounts and potential bad debts. Accounts Receivable Duties

City Ledger:

· To assess the customer's credit worthiness by research through various available sources and to recommend credit approval or disapproval to the Management.

· Process all Credit Applications, ensuring that clients are notified promptly and professionally.

· In the AR module, set up AR accounts for newly approved credits and ensure creditors’ details are correct at all times.

· Accountable for the accurate processing of all AR accounts.

· Ensure that all Debtors’ invoices are accurate; all services invoiced supported by a valid guarantee of payment and the room rates correct.

Credit Cards:

Month End:

Credit Control Duties

Credit applications:

· Process credit applications within 10 working days, ensuring that clients are notified promptly and professionally.

City Ledger:

• Ensure that all transactions are well documented.

Job Description & Responsibilites

What you will do:
