Regional Account Manager - Your future position?
Key Deliverables
· Delivering on the customer sales target and new win revenue target
· Owning and delivering on the regional ADP
· Maintaining customer gross margin
Core Responsibilities
Customer facing
· Understanding customer strategies and translating those in to opportunities for Givaudan
· Understanding the customers brands and the brand strategies
· Building key customer relationships inside and outside the region
· Managing all major price negotiations
· Taking proactive approach to develop sales to customer
· Development and implementation of plans to strengthen customer intimacy
· Manages major customer issues to a smooth resolution
Internal
· Acting as regional communication focal point for customer, facilitating flow of information to sales and technical groups
· Increasing customer participation in account planning processes at regional and global levels
· Collaboration with regional technical staff to clarify customer needs and expectations
· Own and negotiate all agreements with customers (rebates, confidentiality etc)
· Communicating and leveraging World Account Management and other members of global team
· Provide direction and coordination activities of key account Managers within region
· Assure application of consistent pricing polices
· Regularly reviews and delivers status reports on project progress and industrialization of projects
· Win/loss analysis
Internal/non sales
- Works actively with the regional marketing teams and inputs in to the relevant category strategies
- Participating in training and development
