• Check used car purchase and sales folder (export, local retail sale, and local wholesale) for payment, documentation, approval, etc
• Process full settlement of customer's used car traded in
• Update excel control list for used car sale and purchase details
• Issue invoices for used cars sold
• Process payment for direct used car purchase
• Process number retention, number replacement, ownership transfer, and de-registration of vehicles
• Process refund of overpayment to customer and payment to customers for direct purchase of used car
• Compile LTA purple forms for submission to LTA
• Posting of bank-in slips, credit cards, and Nets payments
• Posting of temporary transfer of ownership charges and all payment vouchers relating to the sale of used car
• Compute purchaser commission, car commission, and finance commission
• Other duties as and when assign

Job Requirement:

• Possess minimum Nitec in Accounting / Business Administration with at least 2 years of related experience

You role shall include but not limited to:

Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
Handle daily operational AP/AR tasks including invoicing, statement of accounts and follow-up on aged receivables, payment and staff claims.
Assist with month-end closing activities (bank reconciliation, BS schedules and audit schedules), intercompany reconciliation, quarterly GST submission and income tax filing process
Prepare analysis of accounts as and when required.
Maintain fixed assets register.
Maintain good documentation and filing system.
Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting.

Pre-requisites

Diploma in Accounting/ ACCA or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in AP/AR/GL and accounts consolidation.
Meticulous and attentive to accuracy.
Able to multi-task and possesses strong initiative.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to read and write Mandarin is preferred as the incumbent is require to work closely with the China office
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and Xero.

Job Responsibilities:

• Match purchase orders with invoices and input them into the ERP system.

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate payments.

• Identify and report any discrepancies during invoice processing.

• Allocate expenses to the correct accounts and cost centers.

• Conduct weekly payment runs for suppliers and employees.

• Reconcile supplier accounts monthly.

• Organize and maintain document filing.

• Perform bank reconciliations for payments.

• Prepare audit schedules as required.

• Respond to supplier inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Handle additional tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Accountancy or relevant field.
