Responsibilities:

• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and bank movements, general ledgers, and other financial accounts to ensure accurate reporting and identification of discrepancies.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• ERP and Financial Systems Management: Maintain and optimize financial systems for accurate reporting and process efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve the efficiency of financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• With 2-3 years working experience as accounting role
• Proficient in ERP System, advanced Excel skills.

Input, check and upkeep all accounting records/ financial transactions in corporate software

Full-sets accounting (AR, AP, GL and WIP month-end and year-end adjustments)

Monthly accounts closing (general ledger) including WIP Maintaining the integrity of the accounting system (perform postings, revaluations, troubleshooting)

Managing a team of executives

Check and review inventory reconciliation (Liaise with relevant departments & store to resolve discrepancies

Liaise with external auditors for half-year review and year-end audits including preparation of schedules and draft financial statements

Requirements:

3 years of relevant accounting experience in the construction industry

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent.

• Manage at least one account autonomously, ensuring all deliverables are met
• Become the go-to Point of Contact for at least one account
• Orchestrate internal projects for your account, liaising seamlessly with our production team for timely, top-tier deliverables
• Attend internal huddles to stay updated and share insights
• Set goals with your team and manager and work towards achieving them

• Be the captain of at least two accounts (depending on size and scope), directing its course with minimal oversight
• Consistently hit client deliverable deadlines
• Draft insightful monthly reports, spotlighting recommendations for future strategies

Accounts Executive ( Full Set )
Salary: $ 3000 - $ 3500 (Depends on Work Experiences)
Working Time: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
Working location: Ang Mo Kio

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain full set of accounting records for multiple companies.
• Processing sales data.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Work closely with external counterparties for completion of monthly/yearly closing.
• Provide reliable data for cash flow projections.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register.
• Review AR/AP ageing with long outstanding balances and follow-up with appropriate actions.
• Assist in preparing quarterly GST reporting.
• Prepare monthly accounting schedules.
• Prepare year-end statutory reports.
• Liaison with auditors & external consultant
• Ensures compliance with local government requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirement

• Basic Bookkeeping or Accounting qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting job, ability to maintain full set of accounts will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and common accounting software

Handles the daily Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

Assist in General Ledger and in the preparation of the monthly financial statements for reporting purposes.

Assist in all accounting-related matters. This includes maintaining accounting records, reconciliation, and audit schedules.

File monthly GST returns.

Assist in payroll processing.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authority or agency.
