Job Descriptions:

1. Responsible for preparing the full sets of financial statements for subsidiary companies, ensuring that monthly financial reports and supporting schedules are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

• Perform book-keeping using Sage 300

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including financial summaries, commentaries, and variance analysis as well as other relevant reports within stipulated deadlines.

• Reviewing transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, budgetary controls & cost allocation.

• Perform monthly reconciliations- bank, intercompany

• Prepare and ensure timely submission of indirect taxes (SST, withholding tax, etc) to the relevant authorities.

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government bodies for audit, taxation, and financial matters.

· Work with a team of accounting staff to ensure the smooth running of daily

Education:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Professional Accounting Certificate or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA are a plus.)

Experience:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is highly desirable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsiblities

• Responsible for partial set of accounts including but not limited to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
• Prepare month-end closing journal entries and balance sheet schedules and reconciliation.
• Ensure timely, complete and accurate recording of accounting entries into the accounting system.
• Assist with monthly reporting, budget and audit.
• Maintain good documentation and filing system.
• Assist in the review of internal control procedures to improve accounting processes.
• Perform any additional ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Your new role:
